Hawaiian Poké Bowl - Quartier Bleu — Restaurant in Hasselt

I was there with my girlfriend last Saturday and it was a disaster. There are a lot of positive reviews and I don’t really understand it.

I remember this place being much better, but here’s what happened:

•The place was very very dirty. The outside part was filled with leaves and litter, tables and chairs were sticky. The numbers that you set in the table for them to bring your order were literally covered with small bits of food. A lot of tables still had unfinished poke bowls with flies in it. Disgusting! •The service was horrible. The place was understaffed, having only 3 people for everything. The staff made unfriendly remarks to us 2 times. The time we had to wait for our order was not very long, but still to be improved. •The food was really bad. We made our own poke bowls, but don’t balen it on us here. The ingredients were the problem. Cherry tomatoes were literally half rotten, the quinoa and rice were very bland and they filled like 1/2 of plate with it. The fish was mushy and tasted funny. Guacamole had weird ingredient proportions with a strong taste of lemon. Walnuts were low quality. To sum it all up, everything except of mango tasted how it shouldn’t. And the price is actually not that cheap! Moreover, both me and my girlfriend felt stomach ache this evening or the next day.

I would refund if I could, because I feel scammed. Don’t ever come...

During our visit, the ordering screen did not issue a receipt as proof of payment. When we requested the ticket, we were simply asked to show it to them 😰 which was quite frustrating. To make matters worse, when we were served, the food was presented in broken bowls that were leaking an unbelievable experience.

Overall, I would not recommend this place, especially given its location in Quartier Bleu, upscale neighbourhood. The management appears to lack proper customer care and does not seem to value their clientele. It’s disappointing to see such a disregard for basic service standards.

I believe this business needs to reassess its approach to customer service and ensure a better experience...

Food was good, as always. We came in and there were 2 tables seated. The girls behind the counter were on their phones, even for a while after we put our order in. They were also just being generally slow in making the bowls, partly due to the fact they were still talking loudly to eachother. This screams unprofessionanlism. After they brought our order to continued to be on their phones and talking and gossiping loudly. Later on it became busier and they were STILL on their phones. I think this is truly unacceptable. Me and my girlfriend like to come here because we love the food but this was not the first time that we have been disappointed by...
