I have never been so disappointed eating at a korean restaurant my whole life. We were enticed by the pictures we saw on Google but the reality was quite a bit different. The food was not good. The japche was over kooked with a strong taste of sesame oil that covered anything else. Also there were random vegetables thrown in there, that had clearly been cooked waaaay earlier. The gimbap was tasteless, filled with the same random vegetables of the japchae and just a touch of muji. No meat, no fish, nothing, excepts our sadness after tasting such a meaningless dish. The kimchi jeon was the side of a cookie and probably thinner than one. It was overcooked and also they did provide a new take on the kimchi jeon: no kimchi, just spicy flour. And last but not least: the fried chicken with swith and sour sauce. From where we're from we say that even a slipper tastes good if it is fried, but not this chicken. Somehow the spiciness and the sweetness vanished leaving just a strong acid taste. To add insult to injury we also had to pay a ridiculous price for the amount of food we ate (and we didn't even get rice or banchan with our dishes as it's customary in korean cuisine). The beverages were in ridiculous small quantity and largely overpriced (2.90€ for a 200ml bottle of coke is a scam but more than 4€ for a glass of iced tea can be considered a robbery). Overall: no thank you. You want korean food in Brussel? We can't tell you where to find it, but certainly not here. We did not think that the level of the food here was going to be the same that we found in Korea, but we never imagined to have the worst experience with korean food we ever had in Europe. We hope this could be somehow constructive and make the place improve, until then...
Read moreDon't go to this restaurant, it's not Korean food at all. The taste is very unpleasant. It's expensive and unpleasant, disguised as fraud. Even fried chicken is terrible, and the sauce is even worse. The drinks are also very expensive and the portions are small. Overall, I have tasted the most disgusting Korean food in here.
We can't believe the restaurant owner has tried Korean food many times and has taken cooking classes in Korea. My friends and I are also Korean food enthusiasts. We make our own dishes that are even better than this restaurant. Why we waste time and energy spending money to visit your restaurant? It's not easy for us to make money, and if we had known in advance that this restaurant taste very bad, we wouldn't have gone. I have tried Korean food in Europe and have never encountered anything more expensive or unpleasant than yours. Isn't it a disguised scam where customers spend money but don't enjoy the taste buds and services they deserve? We don't understand how such a restaurant was opened. It's better for the you to spend more time improving the restaurant than to make excuses for your failure here in...
Read moreI normally don’t leave reviews but this place is absolute stupidity. The only thing they cared about was interior design and the dishes to look good. I ordered Dolsot Bulgogi (Bulgogi is beef), and it was tasting really bad then I noticed it’s all burnt. Also not brilliant at all is to put the rice inside the hot bowl which dries out the rice and turns it into little sand pieces, risking you to break all your teeth! The sauce they mix their tofu or chicken in is terrible not authentic at all! I’m shocked I see ppl leaving 5 stars for this place either they never tried Korean food or they are fooled by the interior design. If you are reading this pls don’t waste your time and your money and avoid this place! Final advice for the management of this place, lack of management on the floor could be felt, and definitely it was needed, to take care of this mess and manage crisis like my food completely burnt, not only tasting bad but also bad for health! I wouldn’t have expected to be charged for that! I would highly suggest to go through your menu and review everything (kitchen & food ingredients & processes)...
