Takumi Ramen Flagey is a hidden gem tucked away in the lively neighborhood of Ixelles. It’s smaller than the Jourdan location, but it has a unique charm — warm, cozy, and intimate. The carefully curated, Japanese-inspired decor creates a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
It’s the perfect spot for a casual meal, whether you’re dining solo or with friends. When it comes to the food, it’s consistently excellent. The ramen is always spot on — rich, flavorful broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and generous toppings.
The service is flawless: fast, friendly, and attentive, even during busy times. What stands out most is the consistency — I go there often and have never been disappointed.
Every visit is a genuine pleasure. Takumi Flagey is a true favorite for ramen lovers in Brussels — a place you’ll keep coming back to....
Read moreTakumi recently introduced a loyalty program where you can trade points for rewards. For every euro that you spend in the restaurants they give you one point.
Guess how many points you need to redeem to get a “free” ramen… FOUR HUNDRED POINTS. Here’s a fragment of the list:
1ramen = 400 points (which you would get after eating 24 ramens) 1 portion of 6 gyozas = 150 points (the equivalent of more than 16 portions of gyozas) 1 portion of ice cream = 200 points (seriously? After spending 200 euros in your restaurants you will give me with one ice cream?) 1 portion of edemame = 150 points (no comments…)
Crazy system to “reward” the loyalty of consumers. A pity because the food and attention is great, but this is really a mockery to your clients.
We spend 43 euros in total, in 9 more times we will get our ramen...

I understand he couldn't like it, but isn't necessary to scream things like "those people and their money are mine", or "the street is mine", or "I'm calling the cops" like nobody's hearing. Music enhance food experience for most of people. The streets are not theirs, it's a favor from the city to help them to work. It's unfair they can't return the favor to other people struggling to work as them (specially after COVID19). I just came from 2 weeks vacations in Andalucia, Spain, my experience there was very nice, so the comparison is inevitable. Sad for Flagey...
