I only popped in for a single beer, so I have limited exposure. The barmen all sported some very Aussie looking moustaches and even had some of the Aussie self-deprecating humour. The bar had a beautiful hub bub about it with the music at that magical volume of being just loud enough to enjoy the (rather decent) music without impacting your conversation. I love this little gem. It's a little bar off of Place Flagey that is always busy. It's quite small, on two floors and it usually is very hard to find a place to seat if you come at peak times. It's a cute little place to have a bear or a tea in the evening and play a board game. They have tons of them and you can just ask at the bar for the selection. If you like airy stylish places, this is not for you. It's a place where all the furniture is a mix and mash of whatever they could gather and it had a lot of character. A must go when you are in Flagey area. Great at all time. Weekends and in general night time also on weekdays can be very busy. This pub has been there for more than 30 years and used to be very leftist. Now still has the feeling but on some aspects it seems more bobo. Every month there is a different choice of beer. Don't expect much for food, the place is more to hang out with drinks, play chess or other table games (big variety available). Perfect when it's raining (very often), a good alternative to other spots around...
