Karsmakers Coffee House — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

I recently visited this coffee shop for a quick coffee break, hoping to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and a delicious drink. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be far from pleasant, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment.

First and foremost, the service I received was abysmal. The moment I walked in, I sensed an unwelcoming atmosphere as the waiters seemed disinterested and unengaged. As I approached the counter to place my order, I opted for a mocha. However, what followed was an unexpected wave of judgment from the waiters. It felt as though my choice was somehow inadequate or inferior, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in the establishment.

To add to my dismay, the waiters failed to inform me when my drink was ready. I waited patiently, expecting to be called or at least given a signal that my order...

Nice room to hangout. My bagel was alright but my partners egg-bagel was a little bit disappointing. The egg was bland. The bagels lacked some spices or at least a bit salt. The hot chocolate was good but the choco-coffee was not very well made. The chocolate did not blend with the coffee at all and had to be eaten with a spoon at the end. The coffee was probably not hot enough since the chocolate didn’t melt. Not the chocolate-flavoured coffee I was hoping for. The price for the coffee is pretty high for the small size it came in. Don't bother coming here. The menu is extensive, but none of it is in stock. The woman at the register even said, we don't have any of the breakfast bagels because it's breakfast time. Why would you not serve your breakfast menu during breakfast hours. When I asked her to explain she said "that's what it is". I asked the person I was with if they wanted to go somewhere else and the woman at the register said " that's fine, it doesn't bother me." Every says Americans are rude, but this woman was...
