Be Burger Place du Luxembourg — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

A good option, expensive, but fast. As a Burger Connoisseur this Place gets a 7/10

Positives: Its Fast, Even though there were 18(!) tables before us, the Burgers came in under 20minutes - top! It’s a nice ambience, loads of seating variety, an outdoor space, clean restrooms. Can get crowded at times, but definitely a comfortable place to devour thy burgers. Staff: The Staff were great in their Communication, direct, friendly and attentive. They multitasked professionally, managed the busy lunchtime at Plux.

Cons: Comparatively Speaking Pricey: Whilste the Base Burger costs 13€, the ones you really want to get are closer to 17€. The competition charges less.

Quality, whilste it was by non doubt a good Burger, for 17€, it was „okay“.

The Bun is firm, and the portions pretty small.

So all in all a very well managed restaurant that serves okay Burgers to price insensitive EUers at Plux.

If you are solely in search for a good Burger, and don’t care about Location and Lunchtime there are better Options:

Gourmet: Green Mango and Manhattans are first, Black&White, Huggies and Bintje second.

And the best Smash-Burgers are made by Rambo.

Or just go to a nice restaurant/brasserie focusing on meat, their Burgers will...

The service is horrible, the patio is very nice, and you can't get vegetarian fries or any veggie side dish, the burger tasted amazing. The server didn't write down any of our orders so the first time it came out wrong. I ordered a veggie burger cancun without cheese and it came with cheese. So when my burger finally came out correctly my friend already finished his. All fries are cooked in beef fat, which is a shame because they have so many veggie burgers so you'd think they would cook in plant-based oil. So I had to get a burger without fries. When I finished it I was still hungry so I tried to order another one but for 15 minutes there was no service on the terrace. I went inside to find a server, they were both chit chatting with another guest. When I asked if there was still service on the terrace they followed me and both cleared our table. They made some sarcastic comments which were louder than my order for another beer, so this order was never received. I tried to get again the attention of the servers to order this beer. Awful service, nice burgers, nice location, but unfortunately no...

We are a group of 10 coming without being able to reserve a table (although my friend tried) but we were welcome by very friendly staff. I love the atmostphere as well, the restaurant is big enough and clean. The fries are to die for, both normal fries and sweet potato fries, please try them with the mayo truffle sauce. The best fries I have had so far. I also got a Burger Brussels which IMO is not bad. I just feel like it is not yet a perfect one. I would like the bun to be grilled to have a bit crust on the outside and to be less starchy. And more complex flavour for the meat would be good. The price is more on higher side but 20 - 30 eur per person including drink is acceptable. I might be back. Thanks the staff again, I did enjoy...
