Léopold Café Porte de Namur — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

The coffee place is literally in the same building where I work and I have been here a couple of times already.

The food is great portion-wise compared to the price.

However, the price for the juice is way overpriced for what you get. I’ve only ordered an apple-carrot-ginger juice 2x as takeaway. It’s about 5.10 EUR for not even a fully-filled 330ml (I believe it’s even less) … which is ridiculously expensive. I can get the same juice at Jat (not that far away from this place) for about the same price but I get a bigger portion (440ml and sometimes even a little bit more) there and I see them making it right in front of my nose.

The only other remark I have is that the books they sell at their shop are only French or English ones, which I think is a not a good marketing move … Just think about it … there are a lot of Dutch speaking people working in that same building or even in the neighboring companies passing by your shop on a...

This is usually a nice place, but a few days ago, I had a terrible experience with one of the employees. A lady with glasses and black hair was extremely slow and rude. There were five of us waiting while she took nearly 20 minutes just to prepare a single tea or coffee. When I started to worry about the time, she gave me an aggressive look instead of trying to speed things up or communicate. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in customer service. My favourite place when in Brussels. A lot of light good wifi, good coffee (expensive as usual in Brussels) and great and ambient
