I love Indian food and wherever I am I try to find a restaurant. Here at Shezan in Brussels I found the best so far. What makes it so fantastic Atmosphere: the restaurant is very nice furnished and decorated. The whole setup of the restaurant gives you a very comfortable feeling. It is vey clean and the background music absolutely comforting. Service: the service is outstanding. The staff is extraordinary friendly and absolutely professional. It can be compared with the staff of a fib eine gourmet restaurant if you know what I am talking about. Food quality: the most Importabgabe thing, the food, is incredible and outstanding. Prize: very reasonable absolutely top Resume: one of the best Indian food restaurants I’ve ever been. If I could I would add a 6th star

We had a wonderful experience at Shezan Restaurant in Brussels! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was full of flavor and freshly prepared. The mixed grill was amazing: perfectly cooked BBQ meat with just the right amount of spices. The naan and rice were delicious and complemented the dishes beautifully, and the samosas were crispy and flavourful. A special thank you to the owner. Such a kind and humble person who made sure everything was perfect for us throughout the meal. He checked on us multiple times, which made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Thank you, uncle, if you’re reading this. It was lovely meeting you! We wish you and your family lots of success and happiness always. InshaAllah we’ll be back again soon!

Good dining experience here. The main dishes have authentic taste as well as naan bread which was excellent. My colleague and I ordered seekh kababs and shami kebabs as starters. Unfortunately they were not good. Too dry and powdery with no taste. I guess they are made in-house but I would not recommend them. Other than that the daal ghosht and palak ghosht tasted very good with right blend of spices. The naan bread was large, crispy and excellent in taste. The place seemed popular with the locals. We went there around 10:15 and were served despite being late. I'd probably visit again for the main dishes.

I was there with family for dinner. We ordered grill mix, samosa and biryani. Grill mix costed around €30 (I don't remember the cost of Biryani and samosa). Seikh kabab in Grill mix was very dry and you can tell that it has been in freezer for long time so they don't serve you fresh. Samosa's were also frozen. Tikka kebab was really bad and it tasted like nothing and also was not fresh, most probably also frozen. In general, it was a bad experience and will never go again. Please don't be fooled with the pictures/photo's in their menu, you don't get what you see. I have to say that the staff were friendly.

My reply to your comment below: Dear restaurant owner, No, I have not been mistaken because there is only one restaurant named Shezan on that address and it was not last night, it was a few months ago. I suggest you to re-read my comment, I have written that I ordered mix-grill which consisted of A piece or two seikh kabab, three shrimps, three pieces of tikka kebab and also chicken in some sort of red color. And you mentioned that your Samosa are home made, I don't think so because I have been to Pakistan and India and have enjoyed fresh food. So I am pretty much sure that those were frozen. Finally, I suggest you to review your mixed-grill so your clients get fresh food for what they pay.

My second reply: I wish I took photos of the disaster mixgrill so I could prove it to you. I am not going to waste more of my time urging with you. I recommend you to fix your problem instead starting comment war and behave professionally with your clients. I have the right to post review for bad food which I paid around 85 euro (record of payment in my bank account). Whether you accept it or not, it is up to you. Let people read this review and decide for them selves. One thing is sure, we will never return to Shezan because it is a rip off (food freshness vs money paid for) Have a nice day.

A reply again:

“However, out of the 85 euros you spent you are complaining about the samosas and the mixed grill. Which sums up to 34 euros. You can contact me by phone and I will refund you the amount. Have a gd day :)”

Please read my very first comment again, you got caught up by a negative review and forgot to read the comment first. I was there with my family so it did cost us 85 euro. By the way I never claimed to get refunded, it is al about frozen food served in your restaurant, or was I the unlucky customer. All I wanted to point out to help you get the problem solved instead of you starting a comment war. Now after how you behaved to me, your future clients should be scared of you even telling you that the food was not good by how you react, let a lone the comment. Instead of a comment war, if you were that of a successful business, should have sincerely apologised for the bad experience and we could have solved it by revisiting maybe, if you have stayed nice. But you did exactly what I wanted, i wanted to expose you. you reacted in a way that is not suitable for a business which claim being since 1984 or what ever year was. A sincere sorry does not make you less of a...

If they had the option to rate a place 0 stars I would rate it 0! This place was just appalling and I have many reasons why you shouldn't go to this place. First of all the customer service was appalling, when we went in they were not welcoming at all but we still thought that wlel give it a try see as though it wasn't busy (maybe because the food is discusting lol!) anyways we went in and looked at the menus, the menus were dirty and ripped and did not look appealing. When we ordered the food the waiter was very rude and did not have a friendly attitude. Once we ordered our food, bare in mind there were only 3 of us, the food took 50 mins to nearly an hour to come even though the place was not busy at all! We waited patiently for the food, so we thought we would give the food a try. After waiting patiently for the food, the food was an Absolute disappointment, the presentation was appaulling and it tasted nasty!! Food was cold and damp and looked like it had just been microwaved and given to us, the food was not appreciated. I literally took a bite and just left it there. The toilet was dirty and unhygienic too. Because we didn't want to be rude we left the food aside but paid our bill and gave out condolences. The reason why we paid them was so that they can put that money towards some training on how to cook and present food properly and to recruit better and friendly staff. The money was charity for them to help themselves. I would highly NOT recommend this place to my...

Where do I start (I don’t normally leave reviews but felt like this had to be done) probably the worst place I have ever dined in. Trust me I’ve dined in many places. The location was surrounded by bin bags and the stench of rubbish filled the air but I did not let this deter me. We walked in and were greeted reasonably well but then things went from bad to worse. The waiters were inattentive and did not even put out cutlery but the put our starters out we asked 3 times before they arrived.

The starters (mixed grill) were full of salt and would increase anyone’s blood pressure. Then there was a delay in getting the main (I let it be as I presume they were preparing the chicken karahi fresh). When it arrived it was clearly not fresh the onions were not cooked as they were added later and were pre frozen the sauce was pre prepared and the chicken was added later as it was a completely different colour to the rest of the dish (and tasted different also).

The only upside to this place was the naan this seems to be the only fresh thing in this place.

When I spoke to the owner he was very dismissive and said people enjoy it (clearly people who have never had a proper curry before).

Avoid at all costs if you would...
