Miroir — Restaurant in Jette

Very bad experience. We went there because we thought it looked nice and it was quite a sunny day so we wanted some fresh cocktail. Instead we got some watery cocktail wannabe kind of drink. Since we speak Dutch and also French but out mothertongue is dutch, we tried to speak dutch. Jette is my hometown and everywhere else people at least try to speak Dutch as well, but that wasn't the case here. We started in French then but they simply replied in broken English. Which is how our order got messed up, and that is understandable; but then saying it was the customer's fault because "we said 1 and not 2", which was not the case, is not understandable. The service was very bad, we tried several times to get the servers' attention to pay, but they just wouldn't even look at us. The food we got was not worth the money we paid for it. It tasted quite bland and since they only brought one of the two things we asked for, we didn't quite enjoy it either. And one plate we only received half, we ordered frenched fries with homemade mayonnaise but only got the fries without even salt or pepper. I don't recommend this place, but I do hope they improve the things...

Very bad service, overpriced food and a lot of wasted time. We ordered frites with homemade mayonnaise for €4, but only got some frites with no salt on (and there was no salt on the table too) without the mayonaise, a cocktail, but there was no alcohol in it, tasted like water with a little taste of strawberry, the plants on the table looked very dead and they also couldn’t understand us. We spoke in dutch but when we knew they couldn’t speak dutch we tried to speak our best french but they immediately answered in english. But we can conclude that they’re not fluently english because they misunderstood us completely. After they served the food, they didnt care about us and we had to wait for 30 minutes before we could pay, we literally had to scream to get some attention… We frequently waved but they just didn’t see us for 30 minutes and it was not even that busy. Mon expérience va dans le sens de plusieurs commentaires. Je confirme que ce n'est malheureusement plus le le service top, agréable, de qualité du passé, c'est devenu du grand n'importe quoi. J'y suis allé hier après-midi avec mes parents pour passer un moment agréable mais qui fut hélas quelque peu gâché par le personnel hispanique désagréable et grincheuse. Si une étoile n'était pas un préalable à tout commentaire, j'aurais mis zéroooooooooo et ci cela était possible - 5 Une serveuse pas très aimable qui veut transmettre son stress au client, qui se plaint qu'il y ai trop de monde, comme si c'était de notre faute. Changez de boulot si vous n'aimez pas votre travail. Elle s'est permise d'être désagréable avec ma mère limite, elle voulait la stresser surtout après au moment du paiement par bancontact et ne manquait pas de culot non plus avant cela pour dire sa collègue " oui je sais ça traine " . Non mais c'est une blague. Elles n'ont jamais intégrées la notion du client qui est roi, qui est complètement étrangère chez elles. On a quand même encore le droit de passer de commander en quantités souhaitées. Des fainéantes aussi, elles se croient sans doute dans leur petit patelin du bout du monde. De plus, ces serveuses agissent sans doute en délit de faciès. Après nous, elle change hypocritement d'attitude en feignant d'être aimable et souriante et dire un bonjour agréable, ce dont nous n'avons pas eu droit non plus.

Et au moment où on mangeait son autre collègue bronzée s'était permise de me regarder méchamment avant qu'elle ne se baisse ensuite ses yeux après que je l'ai fusillé du regard, ce qui l'a déstabilisé et j'en suis fier.

Nous n'y retournerons plus sauf si un jour un autre personnel aimable, courtois et serviable les remplacent. En attendant...
