De Metafoor — Restaurant in Leuven

I usually go here once a week together with my girlfriend, either on Wednesdays or Thursdays, we never leave disappointed. It's just one of the most comfortable bars in Leuven, in my opinion.

They have a pretty wide selection of famous and not-so-famous Belgian Beers, for those interested in trying different types of Belgian brews, they are all very reasonably priced.

The bartenders are also really friendly and will certainly help you if you're having trouble deciding which beer would suit you the best. Usually it's easier and faster to just order at the bar, instead of waiting for the bartender to come to your table, aside from that service is really great though.

It was an absurd experience. When my friend and I planned to separate the check, the staff suddenly began mansplaining. Perhaps this environment of no one watching fueled his aggression at the time. Continuing to complain, he stated that if it were anyone else, they would call you the”MISOGYNISTIC swear word”directly, and you would waste my time.
