Canadian Munchies — Restaurant in Leuven

I'm a student who went to this restaurant with my mother to try out the poutine. I had the student meal combo of a pizza with 3 ingredients at my discretion and a lovely poutine. For the ingredients I chose chicken, steak and I forgot the third one. The steak was very savoury and a nice addition to the pizza, the chicken was grilled to perfection and the cheese was very tasty. The poutine was awesome with the way that the flavours of the gravy, cheese and fries interacted. The server was very attentive, helpful and kind to us; this made us feel like we really were in Canada. At the end of the journey that was this restaurant it had me saying "eeh how aboot...

I ate at Canadian Munchies last evening. We ordered poutine, wings and a burger. The owner en waitress were very friendly and we didn’t have to wait long until the dishes were ready. I don't usually leave reviews immediately after eating somewhere, but the food and service were so incredibly good that I just had to.

I ordered the poutine with steak, and enjoyed every bit of it. The fries tasted super fresh, and the steak was yummy. The service was also super fast and the lady who served me was lovely.
