We are so happy we found this place. It's a great family run business and the owner is a lovely and kind man who let us in with 40mins to closing time.
It's a small but varied menu, which we rate as often find restaurants with massive menus subpar. The food is exceptional quality and presentation (apologies for snapping main dishes pics after mixing, we started digging in too quick!). We had dumplings and scampi for starters and two of the lamb stew pots for mains. We don't eat lamb often as it can be too strong a flavour or a bit chewy. This lamb was just incredible!    Read moreI happened upon this restaurant while I was in Oostende for a few days in early Sept 2023. Everything about this experience was OUTSTANDING. The food, deliciously prepared. The service, excellent. When I saw that the menu was only in Flemish I asked for an English menu. You canât get better service than that! He was extremely helpful and gave me suggestions for dessert too. I would love to return to Oostende again someday and this is the first place I will...

We were welcome individual little bowls of olives and crakers which felt like such an extra touch! The Aushak were absolutely delicious - and although it seemed like a small portion at the beginning - they were super satisfying! The man serving was sooo friendly! We...
