Long Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Au Laboureur Steak House with a group of friends, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the cozy yet stylish atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The restaurant is impeccably clean and well-kept, creating a warm, inviting space that feels perfect for gathering with friends.

Like others mentioned- no idea how this got so many reviews. I am convinced this has to be bot accounts. Also workers bring you a QR code at end of meal and ask you to leave 5 star there on spot… however still am mind boggled how this got so many reviews.

The place was dead. Only 2 other people in whole restaurant. For the American audience - this is worst quality meat you will eat and you will pay top dollar. Maybe this is good in Belgium, so maybe I am too harsh on these guys. But this steak makes Walmart Great Value meat seem world class. Me and wife got filet and it was so nasty. I was so pissed the whole time knowing I paid $100 USD for me and my wife and paid top dollar for a cheap joint.

Location - from reading other reviews, I know owner will get triggered I call it this, but it is located in the Ghetto. This was a 15 minute walk from our airbnb near downtown and we felt very uncomfortable. Sketchiest part of Brussels and feels out of a horror movie.

Things I wish I knew before coming-

3. this is a Muslim meat joint - so it is mainly for Muslim customers who have to eat meat prepared a certain way. No hate at all, just wish they would have advertised this
