Known as the best cheese shop in Brussels - it’s easy to see why. The exterior of the shop is inviting, including a view into one of the aging rooms (they are known as an affineur). The display area is equally inviting and the array of cheeses invites a beautiful agony of choice: there are soooo many great cheeses to choose from. Fear not because the multilingual staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Next to the display area is a room with tables where you can enjoy a cheese/charcuterie plate with excellent bread and a glass or bottle of wine or beer from an outstanding selection. I had a taste of the l’Ermitage Temple di Ciel - a pale ale flavored with jasmine tea.

Quite shocking.
Otherwise, an impeccable shop and a must-see for...

They also have a few great beers, including Cantillon. They specialize in Comté cheese from the Jura region - probably my favorite cheese ever - but have lots of local specialties, which were found on the cheese plate we ordered. The local Herve cheese was great. The owner and staff were total experts in their field, and very friendly. Highly...
