Churrasqueira Portugalia — Restaurant in Saint-Gilles - Sint-Gillis

By accident the near by restsurant I wanted to go was not open, so I try this little portuguese place. Only 6 seats but has 3 female staffs working plus 1 chef cooking at the grill. It was lunch time and this place was empty with 1 or 2 take away orders only. May be this is a take away place? I had Pastéis de Bacalhau. Outside was soaky and inside has no taste. It certainly was not prepared today. Grilled Steak assiette VEAU with only choice of frite or rice for €12. The meat was red so it was not VEAU at all. No salad or vegetable. I finished the frites but left most of the VEAU on the plate. I love portuguese food and have eaten many places in Portugal. Don't know how to describe my experience here. But must say the 3 ladies staffs were very kind and helpful. Just forget it and walked...

Additional note: I have been coming here once every few months and revisited again at earlier September 2025. The restaurant have recently expanded so there are more seats than before. Cosy setting, delisious food and their super friendly service as usual. Yes, I can confirm that it is still my favourite place...

No good place at all to order food, always causes problems.
