I recently dined at CiPiaCe in Saint Gilles, and while the restaurant has some positive aspects, my overall experience was quite stressful. First, the ambiance left much to be desired. The tables are ridiculously small, leaving barely any room for plates or personal space. Navigating the restaurant was a challenge; it's so cramped that both patrons and waiters struggle to pass by each other. This made the environment not only uncomfortable but also incredibly noisy, which detracted from the dining experience. On a brighter note, the food was decent, though a bit on the pricey side for what was offered. The flavors were satisfactory, but nothing stood out as particularly memorable or worth the premium prices. The service, however, was a highlight. The staff were very energetic and friendly, doing their best to ensure a pleasant visit despite the physical constraints of the space. Their positive attitude and attentiveness were appreciated, adding a much-needed touch of warmth to an otherwise uncomfortable setting.

The best pasta I’ve ever had!!! We came here for a birthday dinner and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. They really made us feel special, and the birthday girl was over the moon. They kept the table stocked with water and bread, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting from start to finish. Special mention to the two waiters who looked after us (a boy and a girl, both with glasses, I’m so sorry I can’t remember your names💔). They were absolutely amazing!!I’d come back just for them. They even dimmed the lights and synchronized each other with the music to bring out a tiramisu with a candle, such a thoughtful touch that made the night even more unforgettable. We ordered the Octopus (from the Secondi menu, kindly served as a starter), the Pacchero al datterino, the Strascinate al ragu, and the Tagliata di manzo. Every single dish was outstanding, I honestly can’t pick a favorite. If I’m ever back in Brussels, I’ll definitely be returning!❤️❤️

Food was simply amazing! The owner - Giorgia if I am not mistaken - is super nice and is a real social butterfly. I took meat - was super great! My friends took tuna and octopus and also enjoyed it. The only thing is that we were quite dissapointed to sit in the sad terrace - felt like a party is inside and we are out :) should be possible to inform people when booking where they will be seated to allign expectations. And one more thing to improve is service or the speed of service. We waited quite long for our food, after that also for wine. Maybe when you sit inside is different, but sitting outside honestly it is not a place where u enjoy spending time - we wanted to eat and leave but service was so slow that had to stay there longer. I would suggest going there with a smaller group, maybe 2-4ppl max and ask for a table inside. We were 5, maybe not the right number for that place.

Horrible service! We showed up at the restaurant, it was empty and none of the tables were marked as reserved. There was no staff to serve us so we chose a table. Finally, a lady showed up but was talking to other customers and by the time she got to us about 10-15 minutes have past. She told us they're book full and we could stay until the next reservation which was in 40 mins. We said that's okay as long as they can cook the food fast and the lady assured us that's not going to be a problem as everything is premade. We sat down and she came back to let us know they won't manage to serve us in the time frame and we should leave. Absolutely horrendous, completely and disorganized. How difficult it is to put "reserved" signs instead of wasting customers time. Avoid them for their unprofessional behavior and their apparently premade food!

Edit: You can also see the extremely insulting reply from the restaurant. Deciding to insult me instead of taking responsibility! No, I am not confused about the place and I am not stupid. I obviously don't have an opinion on the food itself, might be the best in Brussels, I am just going off what your sever said, when they tried to convice us to stay. Do you not make reservations without putting signs on the table or was the "wrong place" I was referring to again?...

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would—and that’s saying something because I’m picky! From the moment you see the warm lights from outside, this place just draws you in. The heated terrace creates a cozy, welcoming vibe, but it’s the service that truly stands out. As soon as I walked in, the bartender made eye contact, and I immediately felt like I was being welcomed home.

This charming Italian restaurant is exceptional in every way. It felt like being invited into an Italian family's home—warm, genuine, and full of heart. The staff went above and beyond, offering a personalized introduction to their menu with sincere smiles, showcasing their deep knowledge and passion for their food.

The cocktails, self-created and unique, were an absolute delight, (have a close look at the ice-cubes) and the two small shared dishes we tried were an explosion of flavor—truly unforgettable. And the red wine? It was the perfect pairing, elevating the entire experience.

The place was buzzing with energy, so definitely make a reservation if you want to experience this gem. I can’t wait to return. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for such an...
