This Portuguese restaurant exist since more than 40 years and its success is based on the authenticity of the look and taste it offers (customer experience). With only some 15 tables, reservation is required. The typical Portuguese dishes are delicious and commendable without a shadow of a doubt. The place is also well known for its paella (a Spanish speciality) but I found it a bit too salty and that it also had a bit too many clamshells in it. The wines are really good with a special mention of a red Douro wine "Crasto" which I found full-bodied, with a good balance between tannins, spices and fruit. You will like your visit. This is my favourite Portuguese restaurant in Brussels, and I keep going just to eat bacalhau à brás all the time. Even in Portigal I found it difficult to find a better one! The restaurant is small and nice, in a very trendy street in Saint Gilles (Jean Volders), a few meters away from the “Parvis”.
A few years ago it was better, as they cooked the cod in larger quantities and allowed you to refill your plate as many time as you wanted. Now it’s only one portion (see pic below), which is a pity as I would eat a lot more :)
The rest of the menu is also good, and the prices are OK...

-ive Points: You can't really order any Portugese plates as they are supposed to be for 2. This leaves the choice to order steaks only. But if I need to have only steaks then why would I go to a Portuguese restaurant?
I am happy to pay more for single dishes that allows more versatility then such a menu.
Would I visit the restaurant again? Only if menu becomes more suitable to cater for individuals then groups.
