Fernand Obb Delicatessen in Brussels is such a find! I recently popped in and was really impressed, especially by their potato waffles. They’re a delightful twist on the classic, crispy and golden on the outside, and wonderfully soft on the inside.
The staff at Fernand Obb are another highlight. They’re super friendly and make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. They’re always ready with a smile and happy to chat about the menu, which makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.
Prices are really fair for the quality you get, and it’s nice to know they have some products for sale if you want to bring a bit of that deliciousness home. Even though I didn’t buy anything to take away, it’s a great option if you’re looking to share the experience with others or just enjoy some Belgian treats later.
If you’re in Brussels and want to enjoy some fantastic food in a relaxed setting, Fernand Obb Delicatessen is definitely worth a visit. Great food, lovely people, and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere—it’s a place I’ll be coming back...
Read moreThis is really burger place - and as such a good one (my 4 stars to be read in this context).
Pay attention at the menu - there are no "normal" chips / fried potatoes but "Gaufrites". Basically a large fried potato in typical Belgian waffle shape. Not bad and interesting twist.
Menu is limited to some few starters and burgers and salads - the pastrami croquettes were good and I'd recommend them.
Obviously being a burger place, don't expect too many vegetarian options, but you still have a choice. The limited menu is the forte of this place: you know what you get there for and what to expect. It's a safe bet and all is fresh.
I also liked the bun / bread they serve their burgers with.
I take it as very positive that they had run out of beef, when I ordered one. Means they cook with fresh ingredients.
Staff was friendly, they mixed up the order but dealt professionally with it.
Toilet should be checked more often by staff. It was clear though it was spotless earlier in the day, but...

My daughter loved her mini cheeseburger. It came with one of the potato waffles and carrots more like coleslaw.
Drinks: They have wine, beer, juice, and other options. I ordered a bottle of still water and my daughter got orange juice, which came in a glass with ice.
Service: It’s attentive and friendly.
Space: It’s a simple, yet beautiful design with a mural inside and out back. There are tables inside and outside by...
