One of my personal favourite bars. Very old school Brussels bar, authentic and down to earth. Great to sit outside during warm days. They serve the tripel Verschueren from brewery de la Senne, you can only find it there, it is delicious and treacherous because at 8° it drinks much too easily. There's only a limited selection of drinks though, don't expect fancy cocktails...

The Verschueren.. I have whiled away many the pint on the terrace of this establishment. It's on the Parvis de St Gilles, but not smack in the middle. Not as trendy as the other places, but has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly, notably Christophe.
