I am very disappointed with my experience at Gulliver's restaurant. I had room service from the hotel and ordered grilled salmon with fries and bearnaise sauce. I was told that the order would take no longer than half an hour, but it took much longer than that. I had no issues with waiting, but when the food arrived, the order was missing the fries and the bearnaise sauce. We called back and they compensated us with a free bottle of water, which I appreciate, but the grilled salmon wasn't even grilled and it tasted like something warmed up in a microwave with no flavour. It felt like something rushed and thrown together, which is unfortunate considering the cost.

I am a native of Belgium living in the US and I often stay at the Sheraton Brussels airport before flying back to the US. My last meal included “chicons au gratin,” a traditional Belgian dish made of Belgian endives rolled in ham and served in a creamy cheese sauce. Gulliver’s interpretation included a generous helping of herbed mashed potato and truffle oil-infused wild mushrooms. I am Belgian and don’t remember having this dish interpreted so expertly. Saturday evening was busy, but I got a seat very quickly. Placed my order and drink + food arrived on my table with the expected time.
Steak, vegetables, fries and pepper sauce. I found nothing to complain about. Bit pricey as any other airport hotels.
