Belgorama — Restaurant in Steenokkerzeel

The worst Belgian waffle i have ever tasted and at the same time the most expensive Belgian waffle i have ever bought. It was cold and hard. The chocolate topping was from a bottle and very fake. Inedible. The service consisted of a cleaner who said "self-service" while we were waiting to be served, and another employee who eventually, and clearly reluctantly, broke off a conversation to come and take our money.

I'm just glad we couldn't work out how to operate the drinks machine, thus avoiding further disappointment.

The managers of this place must hate Belgium (maybe they are French?). Otherwise they would not scare away foreigners from Belgian cuisine by naming the place Belgorama and serving what they call Belgian original dishes. I had a fried fish with veggies and a hot chocolate from the Cécémel machine, paid 21,60. Mind you this is a fast food self-service. Fish was cold and almost inexistant behind the thick crust, veggies were okay but far from good. Selling a small paper cup of Cécémel for almost 5 € is bordeline criminal though. Staff was nice,...

Totally not worth your time. The food is overpriced, packed with salt or genuinely tasteless. The staff is slow and unfriendly. There’s always a line in front of the place not because it’s trendy but because the service is deplorable. We queued for at least 35 minutes, the staff was closing the place down while we were waiting for the food, we ate with single use utensils because there was nothing else available, similarly there weren’t any trays either.
