Beers & Cheers — Restaurant in Steenokkerzeel

Great place to have and taste a Belgian beer. In the middle of a group of shops, it is very handy when you are travelling with friends as a reference point to meet and to enjoy a drink (or two) and to get some last minutes presents in the nearby shops. The service was very quick and it is reasonable prices, considering you are in an airport. There are elevators next to the bar, and toilets are located very handy and closed to the bar. There are screen panels providing information on the departures flights, so you can relax and keep an eye on the updates of your flight. There is a currency exchange booth right next to the bar in case you decide to have some cash from the country you are planning to visit. Pub in a large open area with lots of seating. Nicest place amongst the eateries to have a drink.

Leffe beer had the most tap varieties - blond, dark and ruby. Hoegaarden and Stella Artois were also available on the tap. There are also bottled beers.

Other than beer, there is also hard liquor, wine, soft drinks, sodas, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Not the best place for food. I had the hotdog. It is filling, tastes ok and more importantly, at that moment, it provided a simple warm meal. With 2 beers and a hotdog the meal costed over 20 Euros.

There are also sandwiches, fries and fried chicken on display. They looked like they were cooked from hours ago and unappetising. Orders are heated up in the microwave.

Pricey overall but found the place ideal to grab a bite, rest while waiting...

The employees look at the person and judge, who they think deserves to drink beer in a nice glass cup or who should receive a crappy plastic cup. The price was the same! In other words, very expensive! There was a brief discussion with 3 employees and all three of them judged us as not worthy enough to drink from a nice glass.
