The newest refined Italian restaurant on the block. Even though the restaurant has been here for many years, it has had many reincarnations... Sadly this one doesn't hit the spot. An Italian restaurant that gives you a spoon for your pasta isn't quite right... 🤣

The offering is great, but sadly the dishes can be a hit or miss. Sometimes over salted, sometimes under, sometimes full of flavour, sometimes a bit bland. The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly and attentive, maybe a little too attentive - with all the faffing they do with removing cutlery, placing cutlery, removing napkin rings, leaving napkin rings... It's just a bit too much to commotion around the table for my taste.

I hope the future brings balance back to this place and becomes great once again. It's position is too high to be so relaxed with consistency. Sorry for the somewhat negative review, but it's the 3rd time we've been now and each time it's been the same hit and miss.

A great restaurant experience in Buzios even if the food could have been better.

However the waiter was great and the food was presented nicely.

Food/drinks: We had pepperoni pizza which was good, as I do a lot of Neapolitan style pizzas myself I would recommend more salt. And then the spaghetti with fried meat which was not what we thought it would be and the spaghetti was a bit on the thin side..we also had the filet mignon with gnocchi and this was delicious. All this together with the house red wine which was an ok wine from Chile. A bit heavy on the tannins.

The roasted strawberries on yoghurt ice cream was really, really good.

Service: Just on point and excellent throughout , think the name was Jorge.

Ambiance: Really quiet and low key...

INCREÍBLE LUGAR! Te recibe un ambiente super cálido con luz tenue y la decoración justa en la que se mezclan las maderas con el verde de la vegetación. Es destacable el clima tranquilo donde se puede conversar sin elevar el tono de la voz, a diferencia de otros restaurant del estilo en la misma zona. Sin dudas colabora el volumen justo de la música. En cuanto a la atención, el personal estuvo en cada detalle. Tuvimos la suerte de ser atendidos por Juan que estuvo siempre atento. Prueba de ello, es que controló con precisión el timing entre que termináramos de comer la entrada y la llegada del plato principal. Otra acción memorable que tuvo fue que al llevarse la cerveza que acababa de terminar, inmediatamente me ofreció otra. Por más simple y básico que parezca, no abunda esa buena predisposición y actitud proactiva. Por último, la comida merece párrafo aparte. Pedimos unos arancini que estaban deliciosos. Seguimos con la milanesa con salsa pomodoro y queso -similar al estilo napolitana-, acompañado de fideos con manteca. Riquísimo! La milanesa tenía la fritura justa. Nada de esas cosas aceitosas que dejan su huella por varios días. La carne en sí no tenía ni un solo pedazo de grasa y era extremadamente tierna. La salsa era suave y uniforme. Los fideos muy ricos también. Gran acompañamiento. Un dato que también puede servir, es que esta la opción de pedir el vino por copa. Es una gran alternativa si uno quiere sacarse el gusto de un poco de uva fermentada. En síntesis, es un lugar que definitivamente recomiendo y al que seguramente volveré en lo que queda de mi estadía en Buzios. Me quedaron varios platos por probar como los spaghetti a la boloñesa,...
