This is a cozy small German inspired restaurant in the historic Santa Teresa district of Rio that features many German specialties including a nice selection of wurst and other meat dishes. There are also a few vegetarian options. The restaurant also has a good assortment of German beers. I had the beef goulash with spaetzle and side orders of sauerkraut and lentils. Everything was overcooked. The sausage was tough, dry, and burned. The cauliflower was like mush (it was not mashed, just soggier than I ever seen the poor vegetable) and so bland it was actually... gross. Lentils were overcooked but somewhat edible... is the best I can say about any dish here. They have Paulaner, but no good German beers (and there are so many!) It's just bewildering that a place like this wouldn't have a good German beer selection. Even the service was bad. Sadly, I would never recommend this...
