The meal began with the mushroom starter, and what a way to start! The mushrooms were perfectly cooked, with a rich, earthy flavour that was elevated by a delicate seasoning. It was a dish that set the tone for what was to come—pure culinary delight.
Next came the meatball main, which was simply outstanding. The texture was hearty and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices. Paired with a delicious sauce, the dish felt like a comforting embrace—everything you want in a main course, and more.
To finish, the pecan pie dessert stole the show. It was decadent, sweet, and nutty, with a perfectly crumbly crust that made every bite unforgettable. The balance of flavours and textures was spot-on, making it the ideal ending to an amazing meal.

Read moreVery good indeed, but too expensive as a deli. The smoked tofu tapioca is probably the best filling of any tapioca I ever had (and I love tapiocas), and the apple crumble was very good indeed. Coffee was decent, as was the smoothie. The muffin however was disappointing - whilst the giant Portobello and the sauce was lovely, the tofu was the tiniest sliver you could imagine, and the home-made muffin itself was borderline inedible. But it was forgotten and I ended up spending 1.5h waiting for an avo toast 🙈 They seem to be very overwhelmed in the weekends (we went Sun Morning), so you should count with 1-2hours to receive your food.
Unfortunately I was hungry, had I not been I would not have minded probably.
Our server lady was very sweet also :)
They also serve filter water which is awesome, but we got half a glass and braved to asked for one refill after. Maybe allow the customers to self serve the filtered water?
As a vegan person, I am glad such places open and serve such a variety of dishes. The portobello benedict was amazing, the avo toast rather small and underwhelming so maybe not worth the money and the 1hour wait time.
In conclusion, if you mess up an order it’s ok to offer a coffee on the house or a discount, then the experience would have been improved.
Wish you good luck and many happy plant...
