This last visit in July 2023 was disappointing again. The dishes were not beautifully presented and were not especially good. My steak with brie was good but the risotto was overcooked and bland. I can make a better risotto myself. My son was not very fond of the steak with gnocchi as well. We had banoffe for dessert and it was quite ordinary. I don't think the food is worth the price tag.
Yesterday I visited Bellini again. It was pleasant and I had a delicious lunch. Service was attentive. The bacalhau in the skillet was very good, very interesting mix with a sweet bread. We had a good Portuguese wine for a decent price. And again a first rate crème brulée (almost as good as mine). 26 Dec 2021

The one thing that I will let you know is that it takes a very long time to get your food but for us it was worth it, I did love the charcuterie board and the steak was cooked perfect at least one was we ordered one medium rare and one rare rare came out medium rare and the medium rare came out well done. ———————————- Although we didn’t get a chance to eat there, but we are staying at the hotel that this restaurant is adjacent to. O Bellini é um restaurante tradicional da cidade e hoje eu tive a possibilidade de conhecer. Para começar pedi um couvert que já chegou forte causando uma boa impressão, pãozinho artesanal e uma massa crocante com parmesão, para "xuxar" um molho de gorgonzola bom demais, uma sardela igualmente maravilhosa e um alhinho confitado muito poderoso. Já quase explodindo recebi um mimo do Maitre Mycon, um arancini de costela coberto com umas fatias de Parma. Estava incrível, bom demais, leve, macio, crocante, quentinho, faltam adjetivos. De principal foi uma fraldinha na brasa com gnocchi de banana da terra e farofinha, quase uma releitura dum churrasco brasileiro, gnocchi feito na casa, leve e tostadinho acompanhava super bem a fraldinha no ponto perfeito que não obstante ainda tinha um molho de cogumelo porcini pra dar aquela rebuscada no prato!
