There was a blonde woman who kept trying to force a chair past us while we were in the middle of eating and there was no room for this and basically wanted us to move our table forcing a VERY loud scraping noise. She than continued to do the same thing repeatedly with a table right beside us even after we expressed displeasure with what she was too. Too lazy and weak to lift a small metal round table to avoid this! Put sliders under the table or get someone else to help you then if you're too much of a weakling and inconsiderate. She was a not a small framed women. She could have lifted this if she really wanted to to avoided the noise or got someone to help her. my wife also felt the server was being a bit impatient with us or rude or whatever I didn't pick up on it but she rarely complains or things like that about service people and I've been in Brazil for several months and this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review this place is giving the impression of being very upscale and charges premium prices.

It is a very high priced mall. For example the barber sharp at this mall wanted to charge us 300 Reil. $50 plus is a lot of money for a men's cut even in the U.S.

If your going to charge such inflated prices please work on work staff and their manners in etiquette for example it's not polite to sleep right next to someone when they're eating either.

Had a very stressed argument with my wife while trying to eat because of their poor service. This woman seemed a bit clumsy and clueless it seems like the place where the table was causing them issues and she had to try to get someone else to help her move this chair because she couldn't figure out how to get it through any other way there was another section of the dining area where if she would have taken the time to walk around where she could have walked it through yet she was trying to be impatient and lazy or just perhaps not disturb other customers that were a bit more dressed up.

My wife was thinking maybe because we looked younger or we were not wearing super fancy clothing that maybe they we're profiling us a bit, IE giving us a less desirable table and not the best etiquette on customer service.

I was doubting this at first (we were dressed nice and respectable) were still wearing decent attire just not formal dress attire. There were other people dressed casually there also. Which is what led to argument because we weren't sure why the service was so off.

It's possible some of it might have been because of language barriers but the stuff with the chair and the way the tables were being pushed around should have been a no-brainer regardless of what language your using. There was a woman working the bar area who seemed a lot more polite and had a good sense of humor even when we tried to joke with one another about them not having a menu in English that's another point that I should mention is you might want to have at least one or two or several menus that have English writing.

I've even seen inexpensive fast food places in the malls here in Brazil that have at least one English menu. I think this placed need to pay attention to it's management.

I think part of the problem too is that it was a very crowded area in space and they basically tried to put a table where one should not have went in that caused a lot of these problems.

People there are not thinking things through very well. Also in regards to the other table that kept being pushed around even though it was making a loud scraping noise this had nothing to do with our table. It could have been moved without her acting like it was a construction site.

I did not even complain or contest our bill, yet will probably should have. I did not want the extra stress.

I don't want to sound petty or anything like that but this is probably one of the most upscale malls in the entire city and the highest pricing.

They need to think about this and review the other negative reviews so they can learn how to improve their service. Obviously we are not the only folks...

I’ve been to Makoto about 3 times and while the food is excellent, with exception of the octopus “carpaccio” which is rather… rough. the atmosphere is modern yet calm the staff cordial. However, there is a sense of urgency a rush of sorts that’s just not necessary for THIS kind of experience. No need to make sure my cup is always topped off, you can let me finish it and then top off… when you top off before your customer is done taking more than two sips of their wine it gives off the impression that you want to be done with them or that you want them to finish this bottle so they can get...

Estava gostoso! 🏆 short rib yaki noodles R$97 arroz e noodles bem gostosos, pode ser pedido individualmente mas pedimos pra mesa provar tbm fruit toban yaki R$58 sobremesa saborosa 🏆 mousse de chocolate R$35 bem bom! choco bar R$30 🏆🍹 o Makoto Sangria R$39 tbm estava uma delícia! 🙋 Atendimento: 10/10.
