I have visited many times before with friends who speak Portuguese, I came tonight as a lone traveler who doesn't speak Portuguese. I was shown to my table and advised I spoke only English. I ordered my side dishes via tablet in English which was a good start, drinks ordered in English no problem. Things went downhill from there. I asked for well done meat only, I received two piece of chicken and after 30 minutes I was given specially cooked well done meat. I cut into the meat and blood poured out. I put the plate to the side of the table and it was quickly removed. 15 minutes later a new plate was given to me. After 20 minutes of being ignored whilst everyone around me was receiving food and service I got up and went to the host station to say I was so humiliated and felt discriminated that I wanted to leave. The lady used translate to apologise and asked me to go back to the table, I genuinely felt discriminated against not speak Portuguese and felt like the staff didn't want me there. Churrascaria Palace has the best high quality buffet sides but it’s much smaller and less variety of meat. All 3 are amazing but if you are a meat eater, Mocellin wins as the top choice! Read moreThis is our second time coming to this amazing restaurant. Each time we luckily had Mr. Joao Adilio as our table manager. He made our experience very personal and made us feel at home. We’re especially grateful that he made sure one of my sons, with his many food allergies felt safe and was able to experience the cuisine like all of us. He remembered his allergies the second time we came in and just really took care of him. The way he was ensuring every table at the place had what they need, kept up with the million requests and just kept everyone engaged, happy and enjoying the meal was beyond what I’ve ever encountered.
