The restaurant looks really cozy and there was very pleasant live music, all-in-all great atmosphere. The greeting was very welcoming and the orders were taken quickly, beers arrived promptly. However, unfortunately I have to agree with several other reviews regarding service: after 75 minutes, we still had not received our food, so we asked (since we had been ignored ever since). They apparently must have had forgotten it - how can that happen with only 4 tables used/groups in the restaurant and plenty of staff around? They then whipped it up quickly (we could hear it getting busy in the back), but no apologies for the inconvenience. Had a fantastic lunch in the Santa Teresa district of Rio which our guide picked out for us. There were a number of similar restaurants in the same area which our guide said were as good.Wanting something not so heavy I went for the fried fish chips and salad. The fish was straight from the pan to the plate and was very fresh and tasty. My wife chose a local bean and rice dish that was very tasty. Was visiting Rio with a friend of mine and she suggested that we visit Santa Teresa as she was told it was a great place to visit. There were many restaurants along this road and I personally wanted to eat at a different restaurant with a better looking menu, however, my friend pointed out that there were more patrons at this restaurant so the food must be great...WRONG!
