If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't even know where to start since everything was terrible! We were with a large group so we understand that there can be a delay or things can go wrong. Mistakes are human but this was just a joke. To start with, a lot of people got their main course before their starters. Food was burned or frozen. My friend even broke a piece of her tooth because there was a big seed in the frozen cherry pie! We had to ask at least 3 times each time when we ordered a drink and were often completely ignored. Then my friend got her soup after her main course and dessert and they looked suprised when she didn't want it anymore. The best of it all is that they dind’t even realize the problem. This was literally the most terrible experience we've all had in our lives and more than 20 people will never put another foot in there again! I work in the catering industry myself so I know how everything can go but this was just an episode of television. The highlight of this experience is that they just rolled their eyes, barely spoke English, there was no manager and they gave us zero apologies! A real shame it is! The staff are nice but the food was a problem. I waited an hour and a half for the duck (2 good sized slices, cooked exactly as I asked) and, while my food hit the mark, the wait was awful. Half the table had finished their desserts before my main arrived and my dish was one of the only good ones at the table. 2 people ordered the pork bon filet, only 1 arrived and it was inedible dry and tough so we had to ask for gravy just to make it palatable, the second arrived after everyone else had finished everything. One person had their side order (garlic bread) served half hour after they finished eating and several other dishes were left half eaten. One friend at the table suggested the chef might be sick today and maybe someone else was cooking! This was supposed to be a celebration meal after a christening and unfortunately it pretty much ruined the celebration. Also, as a table of non-smokers, it was unpleasant that they left the doors open to the smoking area all night meaning the non-smoking inside was as smelly as the smoking area outside. Very nice kitchen, mixture of traditional Bulgarian dishes and refined contemporary cuisine. We are a family where everyone has his/her own opinion on the food and in this place all of us can find something tasty for him/herself. I particularly love the pear-cheese-wallnut-iceberg lettuce salad, and my hubby is a fan of the Jack Daniel's ribs. Our children also have their favourite dishes - chicken fillets in cornflakes, broccoli with cheese and breaded yellow cheese. Lovely ambient setting (surprisingly nice for a place situated under an old block of apartments) and prompt services. It lacks a garden for the good weather, but is flexible with few tables on the open, and floor-to-ceiling windows. We are lucky that we live near and are regular customers.
