Monkeys — Restaurant in Varna

The best restaurant in Varna by far! My friends and I chose Monkeys for my birthday dinner and we don't regret our choice! At the beginning, a pleasant surprise - I got the impression that there is a lot of service in the restaurant, and we are actually served quite efficiently and quickly throughout the stay. In addition, the service is very nice, which in my opinion is rare in Bulgaria. The food was top notch, I have never had such wonderfully cooked seafood. It is also worth mentioning how beautiful the served dishes look. The bartender, on the other hand, did not spare us the alcohol in drinks, plus the appearance of the cocktails also delighted us. When I ordered dessert, the waiter who served us most of the time brought it with a birthday candle! When my friends sang "happy birthday" to me in Polish, he tried to do it with them. He also had no problem recording or taking photos of us. I almost forgot to mention the breathtaking tropical look of the restaurant. There are no random things there, everything creates a coherent, amazing whole.

After such an extraordinary experience, I returned there again with my boyfriend and best friend and of course we also were not disappointed this time. Our favorite waiter even remembered us and once again took care of our stay there. I will definitely go back there shortly before leaving Bulgaria.

This restaurant in Varna is like a small paradise right by the beach. Every detail is perfectly arranged—from the beautifully decorated ceiling down to the harmonious wood-and-stone floors. You can hear and see the sea right from your seat, and the ambiance is incredibly professional. There's a lovely beach bar, a diverse menu of delicious meat and fish dishes, and the drinks are top-notch. Prices are more than reasonable, and it's genuinely a perfect spot in the center of town, surrounded by palm trees. The prices are more than decent, everything looks perfect, and in between all of that, the cleanliness and the amiability of the staff really shine. Want undercooked chicken? Go to monkey’s! Seriously though, I don’t typically leave bad reviews but this one deserves it. To begin with we were seated in an empty restaurant next to a table of noisy travellers. We had booked a table and politely asked to be moved a few tables down. This request was rudely denied and those same tables were still empty when we left an hour or so later. Surely this is a zero cost way of keeping your customers happy?
