Jiang Su Ren Jia — Restaurant in Khan Daun Penh

I wrote an absolutely glowing review of this restaurant and at the time it was completely deserved. But at some point, this establishment moved to a new location and dramatically increased their prices. My girlfriend and I had Chili Pork (which was $4.50 and is now $8), and it was as good as ever, but we also ordered a lamb dish that was $22, and it wasn't anywhere near as good as the Chili Pork. We certainly could have been more careful looking at the menu before we ordered, but $31 for an iffy lunch (the extra $1 was for rice) is just flatly...

Food wise, the best Chinese restaurant in town! All their dishes are delicious. Rumor has it that the Head Chef used to cook for the Chinese ambassador back in the day, stayed and opened this restaurant. What I hate about the restaurant is that sometimes Chinese men are dining and smoking inside (when there are clearly signs saying NO SMOKING). You see the waitresses trying to tell them to stop but they don't and won't which is sad. Go for the food and hope to get lucky...

Fantastic Chinese food. I would recommend you visit with a big group so you can share a variety of dishes. Probably best to go with a Chinese friend for the greatest experience (the staff speak Khmer and Mandarin mostly, but some English too), but the menu also has pictures so you should be able to figure...
