Rooms are spacious and modern, but lacking amenities like iron/ironing board. Our refrigerator didn't work and the outlet for the hot water kettle was broken. Shower has hot water and the air conditioning is great. Housekeeping forgot every day to replace shower soaps and bottled water, and neglected to replace toilet paper and facial tissue. Expect tiny ants in the rooms.
The rooms let in a lot of noise from other guests in the hallway, and a housekeeping phone down the hall would ring loudly all night and woke us up repeatedly every night.
The included breakfast has few Western options (outside of toast and the occasional donut), but the Asian options are really quite good. Room service was quick but the prices in our room's menu were "outdated" -- a $2 juice cost $3 at the door. A week's worth of laundry through the hotel service cost $20, you'll be better off visiting a laundry shop yourself.
The best features of the hotel are the location and the reception staff. The surrounding area is busy and close to Sorya mall, Central Market, a Circle K and plenty of good Chinese and local restaurants. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, with English- and Chinese-speaking staff.
There are probably better options around for your money. We stayed for a week, and while I probably wouldn't stay here again, it's not a...
Read moreA friend advised us this hotel, as she has been before on their rooftop for a drink and diner, a nice experience apparently. Bad luck for us, the hotel moved (yes moved) to a new location since a couple of month. So its under construction now, no more swimming pool, no more gym, no more rooftop, no more food, no more anything even service. The room was really dirty, small, and the window has a wall 50cm in front. The best was when they told us to go to the 8th floor for our included breakfast, and I arrived in an empty huge space where I have to shout for finally someone bring me 3 takeaway styrofoam container with 2 disgusting fried instant noodles inside and half a dragon fruit, this for a family of 4 !!! ||After shouting at the unhelpful people at the reception, they finally told us that the Chineese boss doesn't care and give them the directive to do the minimum, or even less to save cost. At the end we had a discount on the night price, but it was even too much for this hotel that not worst more than $15 a night...||Its our worst experience in Cambodia, and I'm living here since...
Read morePlace there initially for 2 nights then was told we had to stay 2 weeks due to a positive case on the flight, not even sure if that was the case the hotel receptionist just smiled when he announced it. ||The room is dirty, when asked for the cleaning the cleaner asked for money! It was still dirty by my standards after she cleaned. The bath mat was old grey, torn and sheets were yellow with age, that I can cope with but black dirty on the surface areas is not acceptable. In the end I had to clean the room myself. ||You have to request for clean towels and toilet paper. ||We were supposed to have 3 meals per day they forgot breakfast the first 2 days. Then food came at strange time earlier each time in the end: Breakfast @ 06:30, Lunch @ 11:00, Dinner @ 16:30. ||It was poor quality food and just warm, lunch was probably delivered same time as lunch as it was almost cold. The food rubbish is left outside each door and by the elevators with cats wondering around at night scattering rubbish around. ||This is the worst experience ever. DO NOT COME TO...
