[Updated May 2024] Revisited this wonderful restaurant on my next trip to Phnom Penh 7 months later =) Still as wonderful! =) This time, we got to know the Manager Mr Weshay, and one of the staff Mr Sary, who made sure we had the most wonderful dining experience ever! =) I must mention that we were absolutely impressed when Mr Sary saw that my dinner partner was sweating from the spicy food, he immediately brought a packet of wet towel for him! Mr Sary is so observant, and caring and has excellent initiative! Kudos to Mr Sary! =) Food wise, we reckon that Kravanh serves the Best Khmer Cuisine in Phnom Penh! We will definitely come back again and again! =) See you, Mr Weshay and Mr Sary! =)
[Original post Oct 2023] OMG! This is a hidden gem of Phnom Penh! Located in a beautifully maintained bungalow, this restaurant boast a tranquil colonial Cambodian ambience. Attentive and friendly service by the team of waiters provided a delightful and relax dining experience. Food is excellent. Exquisitely prepared Khmer dishes that are delicate and delicious, as well as interesting! A small but adequate wine and alcohol selection, and very reasonably priced too. One additional plus point for this restaurant : My partner is slightly allergic to chilli, and the kitchen was able to completely remove chilli from all the dishes that we ordered! Wow! In our past five trips to Cambodia, this is the frist restaurant that is able to remove chilli from Khmer dishes! I am super impressed! Will definitely visit them again when I next visit...

We ordered a Pomelo salad that had a weird taste—I’m not sure if it was some fish paste or something else, but it just didn’t taste as fresh as I’d expected and know from other places.
On a slightly better note, we all had the fish amok, and it tasted good. There was a bit less soup than what I’m used to at other places, but the portion of fish was decent.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Considering they charge almost three times more than other places, it felt a bit...
