A&W Canada — Restaurant in Abbotsford

Terrible service, it was an older lady, I asked her if she can ask kitchen staff to clean the grill by putting some water on it and then use scrapper, so grill will be clean of any meat particle. Her reaction was, it is too much bothersome to do it, if they start doing it for everyone, it will reduce there service time. I was watching the whole time, they did not clean the grill. They told me it will take some time to cook it, even though meat was cooked, they were just standing and talking, then one of the kitchen staff looked at me, then they started making the burger, after about 15 minutes. Now, one burger was missing tomato, I wanted other one with extra jalapeno aioli, it was not there, I asked for extra cheese on one, it was not there. They put beyond meat patties on grill section where they put meat. Cashier (older lady, no one was wearing name tags) had no idea what is a vegan burger(understandable), she was definitely new, she was did not even knew if they have some sauce bamed "jalapeno aioli", so she did not punch it in, and did not even ask other employee for help, or conveyed massage to kitchen staff about that "unknown sauce". Overall, kitchen staff lack training in accurate and hygienic food preparation old lady working at front need way too much customer training, and need training in how to punch food into system. She is representing A&W and taking it down with each minutes she deal with a guest. Please consider this review serious, or in future you will loose...

I'm writing to you today to ask you to give the highest appreciation, respect and accolades to a great professional who I had the privilege of speaking with over the phone today regarding special instructions for a skip order, due to an operation on my throat.

This great professional went above and beyond and truly cared about the special instructions I had... Providing fresh food double chicken buddy Burger....made out of the vat, fresh veggies for an amazing burger with a great bacon jam and a very delicious apple pie.

I highly recommend everyone going to this amazing location and getting the Great customer service that I received today please care about your amazing professional, John, as I truly value him and i feel cared about with the special circumstances that require me to have my meal prepared with special instructions.

Princeton, BC, worst meal I have ever had at any A&W since and that's going back to Winnipeg, 1956. Apparently "basted medium" in Princeton means flipped repeatedly until the eggs are hard in the center and have a Rockwell 8 crust both sides while the "well done" sausages (because they're usually undercooked) were also burned black to compliment the dessicated bacon. There's more, but the point is made. One look at it should have been enough to have tossed it in the garbage and done it over. If I could have cut the single star in half...
