We made a very large order for mother's Day (which was very expensive) and they quoted an hour and 20 minutes for delivery (which is fine since the order was big) but we asked "if we pick it up will it be sooner". The girl said no. So we left it at that. Fast forward almost 2 hours and we still had no food. We call and the girl says "the delivery driver is not here to get your food yet". Then she tells me she will call me back when she checks into where he is. I get no call back. So I call back and a guy answers. He has no clue what was discussed previously and tells me "your food is almost ready" then I tell him the other girl told me it was ready but waiting to be delivered. He just says "oh" and so I get mad at this point and tell him we have two small kids waiting for the food and that there is no way we are paying full price at this point. So my mom/sister go to get the food. They get there and they tell them "the food just came up" when in reality it was likely sitting there for 45 mins at this point. So we get the Luke warm food home and find that our pork fried rice we ordered is actually Shrimp. We have people in our house who are allergic. My mom called back to speak to the manager and tell them this is unacceptable and she would like a refund after all the issues. The manager yells at her and says "I called my lawyer, you can sue me". This is disgusting service. I worked in the food industry for nearly 10 years and that is unacceptable customer service. So needless to say word of mouth is a dangerous thing and trust me we will be spreading our experience...

We ordered two dishes the other night: Wor Wonton Soup and Chicken Chow Mein.
After finding a staple within the first few forkfuls of the Chicken Chow Mein (from which the chicken was, ironically, conspicuous only because of its absence), we weren't going to risk our health on another one of their dishes.
We called to complain, expecting - at least - an apology.
Instead, we were told it probably fell in after opening up the stapled-together paper bag.
We pointed out that the containers inside the bags had lids on them so it was impossible for a staple to fall inside a container as a result of us tearing open the paper bag.
They finally said they would give us our money back on the Chow Mein.
We had to prompt them about the Wor Wonton - which we obviously weren't going to eat given that they don't seem to know how staples wind up in their dishes.
They said that since there were no staples in the Wor Wonton, they weren't going to give us a refund on that.
We didn't bother going in to collect on the refund because we didn't want to set foot in that place.
Oh, and for what it's worth, the few forkfuls of Chow Mein we did get to eat before encountering the staple were terrible.
Dry, flavourless, and the only chicken we could see - after some squinting - were what appeared...
Read moreCame out from Edmonton area to visit family and we got Chinese food for supper. After picking it up we drove home and I noticed I had missed three calls from the restaurant, when I called back the guy was very concerned because he gave us part of someone elseâs order. Part of the bag was theirs and part was ours. He insisted on meeting us at our house to swap us food. After waiting about ten minutes he finally shows up frantically walking with the food where he sets it on the parking lot to figure out whose is whose. I would have expected food safety to consist of NOT having people take food out of the restaurant and then taking it back and delivering it to other people. I mean if McDonaldâs hands us the wrong drink at the window they arenât even allowed to take it back due to covid regulations: the fact that I was able to take that food to my house where I easily could have opened it and done who knows what and then it was delivered somewhere??? Pretty sure if I was those people I would want to know where...
