Edit Review as of 22MAR2024: I ordered from them 21MAR2024 and they did exceptionally! I stated my discontent and the food arrived hot and loaded! So I ordered again today 22MAR2024 without any comments and...the food portion was small again. The food was hot, but do I have to state my discontent with every order? I drop my rating to 1 star for the time being. I will try again and restate my discontent as well as my hope that they simply fix this. Vegetables and rice are cheap. I am not asking for a second chicken breast.

Review from 19JAN2024, 2 Stars: They have suffered to inflation I suppose. The food is still good but the portions now are TERRIBLE. They have shrunk the portions by at least 33% and they have increased their prices to go alone with the smaller portions. I cannot justify ordering food from here anymore. Disappointing because I used to love this place.....

Review from 4 years ago, 5 Stars: I ordered from these guys via SKIP and WOW! The food was HOT, it was fresh and the portion sizes were generous considering it is a restaurant and not your house. The food was incredibly tasty and the prices are reasonable. You definitely get your moneys worth from here do not think twice! I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu and Spicy Chicken Tidbits thinking that just the main order would not be enough. I was wrong. I now have leftovers and I am stuffed. Amazing restaurant, do not change a thing Roseland!

Owner does not understand the requirements for showing the covid passport ID. He then gets rude when informed that he is going beyond the requirements.

There would not have been an issue except for his rudeness I didn't go there often, but now I wont be going back.

Since the owner responded below I will put this edit in. On his door his sign states QR code only My wife didn't see the sign and as she was showing him her passport, I told her they wanted the QR code. As she was going to pull up her QR code, I showed him mine. He then tells me that he wants to see my vaccine passport now. I told him that he already scanned my QR code. Now if he had responded civilly there would not have been a problem, however he responded rudely and aggressively "why are you telling me, complain to the government" I then told him it was ridiculous to ask for my passport after he already scanned my QR code. Again he chose to rudely respond "why are you telling me, if you don't like it, tell the government" He then rudely asked for ID, at which time I told him to forget it and we left.

The restaurant could ask for either the passport or QR code, they are not required to ask for both. But again my issue was not in him asking for the passport, but with his...

Attended this restaurant as I had a early appointment fairly close by and heard about the good food helpings and tasted like home cooked. Went to the front counter and was advised by a nice smiling lady to just sit where I wanted to go. Got a Province paper which I appreciated and quickly was attended by this lady with menu's, water, and asked if wished coffee. The menu was great and needed little reading as what I wanted was under the breakfast orders. The restaurant had big soft booth seating and not noisy, lots of room. I quickly ordered and was surprised by the quantity of food I got and just how I had requested the order. The eggs and potatoes cooked as I wanted them.The food hot and tasted delicious. I think it is a fair priced large breakfast for this city. I was very satisfied and full! Waitress was nice, pleasant, listened to my questions and name was Melani who she said worked here for 21 years! Wow! Credit machine at the front counter. Tks, will be back for sure!...
