Fantastic! We eat a lot of more “traditional” Indian food, as we live on the North Shore but on the way home from picking apples nearby at Willow View farms, we were so hungry and this popped up on Google maps with such a high rating that we knew we had to try it.
Delicious, unique, and FINALLY my little daughters discovered “WE LIKE CURRY!”
Usually at Indian restaurants, we just get rice and naan and maybe they will try a spoonful of butter chicken or daal makhani and whine “it’s too spicy”
But they tried the kid’s menu house curry chicken and rice… and they became ravenous little monsters. The kid who “doesn’t like chicken” now thinks curry chicken is the best food in the world. And the kid who “doesn’t like curry” is now bragging about how good it is.
Mom and I just had the curry lunch bowls. She had paneer, I had chicken. Fantastic. We asked for spicy, it could be a little spicier, but I think they were trying to protect our Caucasian tastebuds (little do they know how spicy we eat… should’ve told them)
The bowls are excellent value, I was worried I wouldn’t be getting a lot of food for 13 bucks but holy moly I could only eat half of it…
This is not the usual chicken from the other Indian places around… juicy dark meat, it has absorbed so much of that flavor… I’ve been getting bored with the dry white breast meat cubes…
OK now we have to to figure if they will deliver to North Vancouver. It’s almost cheaper to come out here even with the gas… A meal for four with three Takeaway containers full for like $65 with the tip?
I don’t know maybe that’s expensive for the Fraser Valley but that’s like 40% cheaper than North Van.
The place has really beautiful photography on the walls, very comfy seats… although it does have the vibe of a Takeaway joint that with tables… Don’t let that stop you from eating in, the service was happy and friendly and fast.

Read moreA Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience at Baba Chicken Restaurant If you're looking for not just great food but also an unforgettable dining experience, Baba Chicken Restaurant is the place to be! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire meal. The food? Simply amazing! Every dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and expertly prepared. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and every bite was an explosion of taste. Whether you're a fan of spicy dishes or more subtle flavors, Baba Chicken has something for everyone. I highly recommend their signature chicken dishes, which are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional service. I have to mention Payal, a member of the staff who made my experience truly special. She was not just friendly, but genuinely sweet and attentive. It’s rare to find someone who knows exactly how to make a guest feel comfortable, but Payal has that gift. Her professionalism and charm really elevated my visit, and it’s clear that she loves what she does. In fact, I believe every restaurant or food outlet would benefit from having an employee like her. Payal is the perfect example of what great customer service looks like, and she definitely made my visit to Baba Chicken even more memorable. If you're in town, don’t miss out on this gem. Fantastic food, unbeatable service, and a cozy atmosphere....
Read moreI had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Baba Chicken. I ordered their special Baba Chicken, only to find out it had been cooked with fish. I have a severe allergy to fish, so this mistake could have put my health at serious risk. Food safety and attention to dietary restrictions should always be a top priority for any restaurant, and this was a complete failure.
What made matters worse was the staff’s response. When I brought the order back and explained the issue, there was no sense of remorse, empathy, or even a proper apology. Instead of taking accountability or trying to resolve the situation with urgency, I was simply told to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement. The lack of care and customer service in such a serious situation was shocking.
This is not just about poor service—it’s about basic responsibility toward customers’ health and well-being. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled makes all the difference. In this case, the response was unacceptable and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those with allergies or dietary...
