Sasha Sushi — Restaurant in Abbotsford

We have eaten here and taken out many times since their first appearance here in Abbotsford and were always very happy with the great food and experience. I even posted a photograph on yelp, raving about the presentation and taste. Since the management changeover however, things haven't been so great. We have eaten in the restaurant twice and both times we were underwhelmed. We ordered take out last week and that's the last time we'll spend our money at this place. I ordered a few appies, my favourite Chicken Karage, Spinach Gomae, Gyozas, Spring Rolls and Salifornia Rolls. The Gomae was half Romaine lettuce! The Karage tasted as though they had reheated/re-fried leftover chicken wings, they were dry and tough. The Gyozas the same. Spring rolls obviously cheap, frozen things with nothing inside. Just dough. The Salifornia Rolls with Crab, was tinned and fishy. Nothing tasted good at all and we spent over $70. Sorry won't be going back again. Sad really thought at one point this was the best...

Been coming here for 3 years now and never have I been disappointed. The Husband and Wife who own this restaurant are some of the nicest, most caring people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The Husband (sushi chef) creates some absolutely amazing dishes using some of the freshest ingredients around. By now I'm sure I've had everything on the menu and haven't disliked a thing. Their Tataki Salad is a huge portion (like most of their menu items) that has a sauce that is to die for, the Oshi Sushi is SO flavorful, creative and mouth watering, and their Sashimi pieces are bigger than any other place in town. You quite seriously get what you pay for and I never get as excited to eat as I do when my Fiancé and I go out for Sushi dates here. 11/10 stars for sure! Love...

Sasha Sushi restaurant was quite a good experience for the first time. It was not busy when I arrived. I ordered the Chirashi Donburi and the Dancing Unagi Special Roll on brown rice for dinner. The raw fish in the donburi was excellent, being very savoury and fresh. The fermented rice was good, however I had some trouble swallowing it. The sushi was great and could taste every ingredient in the role and complimented each other in taste.

The service was good and can think of no complaints that would hinder the professions of the staff. The restaurant had a modern look while having some trademark Japanese countenance.

This is a great Japanese restaurant with a unique variety of sushi recipes and fine quality food. I would like to come back...
