I eat at A&W because I can get a Lettuce Wrap burger and ask for no salt and they come thru most of the time. I have often asked for no ketchup in the past but I am often told it does not come with ketchup so I went on their website to look at the menu and confirm this and to my delight I read the ingredients and confirmed no ketchup was mentioned. So I I went to Sumas way location today and ordered my usual lettuce wrap uncle burger. But when I started eating it I found it had been loaded with ketchup. I called to complain and I was asked if I had ordered it without ketchup. I told them I had not and that it does not come with Ketchup. Then I was told to take it up with management. So I asked for the manager and when the manager came on I was asked again if I had ordered it without ketchup. I again said It should not have ketchup and to prove my point I started reading the ingredients from their website. The line went quiet and then I realized I was hung up on. I called back incase it was an accident but I went to voice mail. I know she did not like me telling her what is supposed to be on the burgers, but what am I supposed to do? It is right there on the site and they do not want to know from customers what to put on their food as set out by their corporate office. This location does not care how the food is made or dealing with customer complaints. I recommend staying away from this location. I want my money back and I want everyone to know how I was treated. I have gone to this location many times over the years but if this is how they treat customers then I will not be...

So I went through the drive thru at the A&W by Sumas Way today yo buy some lunch after picking my kids from school. Mind you I have my 4 month old baby with me. So I asked for everything fresh from the chicken strips to the fries. It was an East Indian lady who took my order at the drive thru. She asked me to park my car and they would bring my order out to me. We only waited for 5 mins and the order was brought. I came home and started eating and the chicken strips were dry and not fresh and the fries were slightly warm. I called the restaurant and the lady who took my order picked up. I asked her how come she didn't give me fresh food like I had requested anf she started arguing with me and stating that the food was fresh. I've been to that location so many times and everytime I ask for fresh food they make fresh food for me. Mostly it's the guys who are working whenever I go there. I told her not to argue with me because I know the difference between fresh strips and fresh fries. She left me hanging on the phone and started taking another order at the drive thru. I hanged up the phone and called back again several times wanting to talk to the manager but no one picked up the phone. I left a voicemail and I'm still waiting to hear from the manager if she/he ever calls me back. You would think after paying 34 dollars the food would great but it wasn't. They are only receiving that one star because I can't post without...

Well, after waiting for about 5 min just to place the order at the drive thru, I get to the window after the only car in front of me is finished and after paying and getting my drinks I am instructed to pull out of line while my order is being made. I refuse to get out of line as when I have in the past the food is always cold. I always have an order of approx 40 to 50 dollars so for four guys lunch would be cold. I don't think so! I do understand that "Corporate or Head Office" would only allow so much time per car, however, why do you treat people going thru as one order so poorly!!! I don't like food cold that should be hot!!! If everyone was treated evenly and fast food places stopped pulling cars out of line due to their inability to fill an order properly in a timely manner, everyone would get their meals hot!!

Now if my order was placed and I wasn't told to waite prior to ordering this might have been different but precious time was lost due to me just sitting their. It turned out to be the same amount of time as the time it took them to get my order ready.
