Steve's Poké Bar — Restaurant in Abbotsford

Attention everyone… I’m posting my experience today as I’m hoping that this message will reach the owner, amazing chefs at this location and any other great essential workers who work really hard to make this very amazing meal.

This is the fourth time that I have ordered this great bowl And I couldn’t resist finally sharing it…for everyone to see…If you haven’t tried Steve’s, then I highly recommend that you go out right now and get some immediately… It’s mouthwatering, clean, delicious beyond words, satiating and Full of healthy antioxidants that we all need.

Kudos to the amazing chefs and special thanks and kudos to the manager of this amazing restaurant… Thank you for always representing and for going above and beyond… Especially with the little kind and positive energy note that I received on my last order prior to this one… I would highly recommend everybody to grab this bowl… I was in a really bad mood before I ordered, because I was having a bad day and honestly, one mouth full of their great food turned my negative day into such a positive…😊 Thank you...

I don’t like how they do not wear a mask.

Also, after handling cash, they just grab gloves and proceed with making a poke.

I would like it if after handling cash, they wash their hands with soap then put gloves.

I also do not like how they talk over the poke bowl.

When I ask for this and that toppings, they hold they bowl close to their mouth and repeat it and talk over the food. i dont want talking breath on my food.

Please wear a mask.

Also everytime I go there, after making the poke they take off their gloves and ring in the order THEN proceed to put a lid on the poke bowl. They just handled the debit machine without gloves now is touching the lid. WHY not just put a lid on the poke bowl after assembling? why handle the debit machine without gloves then touch the inside surface of the lid and it touches the food, now the...

While the quality of food is fantastic, I'm becoming concerned over a few things. As if a single bowl of Poké starting at $15 wasn't bad enough ($15 gets you a meal almost everywhere else), they recently started charging an extra $3 for a single scoop of Poké meat whereas a the first scoop was included in the base price. I also just had an experience where I scheduled a pick-up for 30 minutes later and the app reported it was done in less than a minute. I went in and asked to have it remade and no problems. But what annoyed me was the clerk didn't even ask "Would you like this one too?" Pretty much EVERYWHERE ELSE would have given the option on such a mix up, but not this store.
