Two consecutive visit to this location was horrible. Managers are really sweet and nice, yet the servers are not competent in doing their jobs properly. The first time, our family came (party of 4) and the server was working on floor while still under training. She did not know which wings were what, and upon ordering a pitcher of amber ale beer, she brought out a lager. When approaching her,the server continuously insisted that the yellowish beer (lager) was the amber ale that we ordered. She brought the entire order of wings wrong and when we had told her it was the wrong order, she then brought it back to the kitchen who boiled(?) it to remove the current sauce and spin it with the new sauce. You really think we won't notice? Seriously.. though the manager kept apologizing we were outraged and walked out starving. The second time (today) I came here to take an order to go. Standing at the waiting area as no one greeted me, I found the menus behind the host counter and sat to look over the menu. A guy server quickly came to check up on us who had been friendly all throughout. A girl server then with wavy hair down later came to me to ask if I was ready. I asked her for some recommendations on wings but didn't seem like she knew her menu. As she was playing with her hair she did not know how to explain and when in doubt would say, "uhhh....y..yeah that is good too." Who can't say that?? Lol.. Upon presenting my gift certificate after ordering, she took it and walked away without saying anything- then went to help another table. I stared at her but she went right into the kitchen, so I walked to the bar to ask the guy server to help me in completing the order/transaction.
That girl server seemed sooo full of herself. Not physically + mentally prepared to provide service especially at a restaurant setting. Plus, I wouldn't appreciate my server serving food with that long of a hair. I'm only giving the 2 stars because of the manager and the guy server. Not for the general service that I have...
Read more2 stars only because I have had good experiences here, however I will likely not be returning after my most recent one.
I was here with family for my sister in law's birthday, when we arrived, there were two waitresses trying to sort out billing - one was rather pleasant, one did nothing but bark at us.
Orders were taken around 7:20 pm, and food didn't start arriving until after 8. There were three kids meals ordered, and one of them was third last to arrive. On arrival, several of our party members had noticed that their wings were already cold.
My own meal - a pasta dish - which I had specified during the ordering process was a vegetarian dish, arrived with a chicken breast on top, and when I questioned this, the waitress was confused, and seemed shocked that I didn't want it. I politely explained that I am allergic to meat, and she took it back to be remade.
Almost an hour and twenty minutes later, the birthday girls food still hasn't come out, and the waitress realizes she's forgot to ring it in. Her fish and chips/calamari come out at the same time as my pasta, and the calamari are rubbery, and the fish is completely inedible as it's been overcooked. My pasta arrived cold and the sauce was more like water than actual sauce.
On billing, there were errors made, and I was still charged for chicken on my pasta even though it was never requested. People who were paying for themselves were placed on group bills, and it was an all around disaster. I felt bad for one member of the wait staff, she seemed exhausted and looked like she'd been doing damage control all night.
All around it was an unpleasant experience, and to top it off, hubby got food poisoning from his dinner.
We've had lots of family dinners here, but it looks like we'll be finding somewhere else to celebrate...
Read moreOK Instarted aorta OK but the booth was super tight, now I am a bigger guy but not that big. Even the thin folks said it was weirdly close seat to table. The waitress was obviously new but what she lacked in experience she fully made up for in positive friendly attitude. The wings well they tasted decent, not bad but not great. $18.75 for ten wings (Thats right $1.88 Each) now food prices are up but them wings are not time or labour intensive. Drop in fryer, drop in bowl with sauce or spice (prepackaged bulk economic flavours nothing unique), coat evenly. There cost is about 87cents chicken, flavor, labour if I made them at home and paid my time, so mark up is not extreme but they get larger discounts and they were nit as good not nearly. Beer selection meh! It is a Wing Bar right? Don't get me started on Sticks and dip lol 2 pieces each of soft floppy 5" carrots and celery with a small portion cup of dip for 3.75 lol. Yes they have to pay the server but honestly the beer mark up was high the wine... one glass cost as much as the bottle of the same and they pay server min wage but I still tip good. Too top it off we sat resteraunt side and had pleasant conversation at 6pm with the other couple who joined us with the hickey game playing on TV with the volume down low but enough we could hear or ignore it. When the game ended UFC came on, some don't enjoy that but whatever same volume just ignore it but then it was turned LOUD (shouting so you can hear me over it lol) we asked if they could turn it down, asked a second time and it was turned down slightly to just be turned back up. For F sake make it that loud in the Bar area maybe but not the dining area.
Think I am recommending it...
