Hey everyone, Just to be clear that Papa Johns are great pizzas and I love the pizza. And i usually don’t write the reviews. This time i have been forced from this store. I Love Papa John’s pizza and their many more products. But .... just a heads up... if you order from Airdrie location, always call and confirm that you are getting exactly what you ordered.
Writing out of personal exercises (more than one time), i have received complete different thing than what i ordered. That would have been acceptable if it would be once or twice. but what it happened multiple times, i called in to let the staff know about the situation. Firstly, the “Amazing Staff” told me that ‘Papa Johns has changes the name of the product, now what i use to order is something else than before’. When i addressed that its not the first time its happening, then this “Amazing Staff” changed its statement saying ‘we are running out of the product’. After me addressing that its been happening from over a month now(i mean i order pizza twice/thrice per month), then again this “Amazing Staff” brings up a completely new statement saying ‘that all we have now and that all we have told from our manager to give out’ (which i m sure, wouldn’t be the case). When i requested to speak to the manager, this A. Staff says ‘i will ask the manager to call you when they will be working tomorrow’. i was surprised and out of curiosity i just asked that ‘is there NO manager working right now?’ then this A. Staff trying to coverup by saying ‘ he is away on break for a 10 mins or so. I(A.Staff) will make sure he will call me back when he is back from his break.’ Never called. its been over 3 hours. Not to miss that i am allergic to the substituted food that the Staff decided to switch for me.
Again, i love papa john’s food but hey, can’t have the food that i m allergic to. Just a heads up to confirm your order before paying to make sure you got what you needed. Keep ordering at Papa John’s and keep enjoying...
Read moreWe ordered 1 BBQ Hawaiian Saturday evening to the Ramada hotel after for a treat on our night away together me and my friend who was flying home Sunday.
We received a pizza with no pineapple and didn’t have BBQ sauce. We were really upset as we really love papa johns bbq Hawaiian pizza it’s our tradition! Normally I never phone or complain because the confrontation isn’t worth it for me but when you select topping and sauces specifically like that we were just kinda confused how it got changed or even if we received the right pizza!
When I phoned the location they said they would have a manager call us the following day. A few minutes after this they even called back asking if we would drive to them to collect a remake. Unfortunately we were having pizza and wine night so didn’t feel comfortable driving after wine.
Within hours I was as awaken super unwell and ended up awake most of the night very sick. My friend when she awoke in the morning began her turn stuck in the bathroom. She had to board her flight like this unfortunately and I made an awful long drive home myself. Today we both missed work as were still very unwell and I am not also not allowed to work tomorrow as I work in food prep.
No manager ever contacted me after the employee said they would have them get in touch with me. After how sick I was I didn’t even want anything to do with this place but we’re both still incredibly sick so I wanted to put a warning out something wasn’t right.
We’ve lost 2 days of wages now over this pizza and I would like a refund I’m beyond words I just hope my friend ends up ok and I worry what the kitchen may look like where our food was made or if this was an old reheated pizza or what even went wrong here… I’d still love to talk to a manager I have...
Read moreWalked into this location and there was no menu visible. I asked for one and then asked if there were any combos or specials and I was told no. So I ordered two 10” pizzas.
As I sat waiting, a couple came in and asked if there were any specials. They were told it was buy one, get the next 50% off.
After they had ordered, I went up and mentioned how I was told there were no specials and paid $50 for two 10” pizzas and some bread knots. I was told that the special was only if I ordered large pizzas. I said if that option had been presented to me, then I would have ordered large! But I was told there are no specials or combos. He told me he had already put my pizzas in the oven.
They apologized when they gave me the pizzas. But there was no attempt by staff to remedy the situation. No compensation of any kind offered. Just, sorry. I expected way better customer service than what I was given.
So I walked away with two $50 10” pizzas, while the other customer walked away with his two large...
