McDonald's is simple fast food. Unfortunately by twist if fate and the bones of 24h service I eat here more often then I would like. Yet every time I go here I get a little more dead inside as you would think that the principles the organization was built on would trickle through somewhere..... but to no avail!!!! The straw that broke the camels back for me was not even the day they didn’t give me straws after telling me they did and not even after asking for them as they told me they had. No the day for me that made me vow never to use this location again was when I ordered my burgers and can only conclude that after asking for extra onion and extra pickle ( both things like) to seemingly ensure my self a freshly made burger.... I received “double cheeseburgers” with distinctive signs of having been caped with buns covered in the ketchup on the outside as if handled by gloves covered in ketchup, the burgers patties inside being burnt black and yet still cold enough to not even start to/ever melt the cheese, my extra pickles was two total and my extra onion was enough to do several burgers yet somehow all managed to end up on only the side/outside of the burgers (ordered 2 that way). And still not what made me the maddest... It started with me at window one having to debate with the first staff as to my order vs the ones from the other lanes as three cars had the opportunity to advance before my order was even taken. Thus somehow altering the order of how to pay for what I ordered vs the vehicle ahead or behind me as their concern seemed focused that I would obtain my order having only paid the lesser amount. Ironically though the reason we were even talking price was that I was pointing out my need to pay MORE as I was (a different order, unless perhaps they had forgotten something) All they took from this was that “I’m paying more and forgot something” HOW could I think THEY forgot something as I don’t have my food yet (still window 1/pay) and that their prices haven’t changed...... without Even costumer clarifications as to what they must have viewed as a complaint there immediate response was to retrieve the manager... So after the there absence from the window, the manager processed my payment but not before confirming my order. Payment was made.... Move to window 2.... Automated drink dispenser....(order: coke no ice)... hand me a dripping cup that rattles with ice... Apologize (you know because I’m CANADIAN) sorry my drink was Coke no ice... (did you see the Oprah thing on fast food ice.... 🤢) Replace drink “sorry sir, your order isn’t ready yet could you pull forward and wait... Me: sure.... Several vehicles go by me (not uncommon could have all just ordered coffee) but manager finally comes out politely says “sorry for the wait, after all, that I took care of your order my self....” Back to top of review.... burnt patties but cold extra P. Is apparently less one as standard is three, received two and had onion, thought extra, looked all but dipped somehow in the onion and covered on the outside in ketchup... last but not least they left out my fries.....
Pro: I have yet to think of one anymore for them other than open 24h but that just means now you can get sub-par food and crapy service ALL DAY
Con: well.... this “condition” seems contagious as I’m seeing an ever changing & worsening of customer service/product quality.
Conclusion: even my nine years old points out the shortcomings of McDonald's recently and has asked to eat anywhere but there....
Note: I’m filling out my google reviews and this is why you will see two back to back bad reviews of...
Read moreI came to this McDonald’s last night in the drive through I paid cash I bought 10 junior chickens and 10 double cheeseburgers for my significantly large family 4 children I’m pregnant myself and my youngest child is a year old.
We live an hour and a half away from here my children were very hungry and when I separated the burgers for the kids I gave them the bag with their burgers in it. I had zero intentions of returning the food until my 4 year old took a bite into a completely raw junior chicken burger. We where already in Calgary and I wasn’t going to let my kids eat raw uncooked food therefore I had to pay more money at a different McDonalds to get them food.
This morning I got a call I have to head back out to the same area so I thought okay I’ll call them and instead of asking for a refund I asked that a supervisor or a manager fixes my entire order because that’s a huge mistake and the supervisor brinadette or whatever her name is told me yes they can do that just to bring my picture proof so as I am halfway to high river she calls me back and tells me that I have to bring the receipt from the bag that we threw out last night as I didn’t want to confuse the raw burgers with the new burgers.
So now even though I have picture proof they are refusing to replace the order that they messed up and won’t take responsibility for the extreme mess up!
I’m extremely pissed off she wouldn’t even give me a phone number to send this photo to so now since she won’t fix this huge mess up I’m posting the photo in the reviews for absolutely everyone to see
Now if the owner sees this and wants to make things right immediately ask your supervisor brinadette for my phone number she has it considering she called me back on it!
I really should be...
Read moreFood is usually okay at their very best, employees kids are usually running around restaurant screaming and yelling, employees are ALWAYS speaking in foreign language and give you a dirty look when you ask them to come over to take your order. If it wasn't for monopoly being on I would eat elsewhere. They have a couple employees that are amazing, such and Angie on the till and Kirsten the one manager but the rest are some of the worst customer service employees I've ever come across. When eating lunch the owner decided it would be okay to lean overtop of the person across from me while showing an electrician what lights needed to be repaired. Have had one of the shift managers accuse me of being racist when my burger was made wrong 4 times and I kept bringing it back up, and then had the audacity to try and tell me I was banned from the place for life all because I wouldn't accept food that was made with toppings I cannot stand to eat. If McDonald's wants an example of how a restaurant shouldn't be this would be the perfect place to show off to potential franchisees. If it wasn't for the 2 awesome employees this place would be...
