I called 5 Barrie cake stores before Andros Cakes finally said YES, they can make a plaid cake on the INSIDE like what I saw on google. They helped me determine the perfect cake based on my inspiration pictures. The cake was delivered and set up on time and it was a show stopper. Many guests could not believe it was a real cake. The artistic details were unbelievable! Everyone raved about how delicious the cake was as well. The plaid layer was a mix of chocolate and strawberry (which I have never had before but the flavours complimented each other perfectly). The tree trunk layer was vanilla. I did not get a chance to taste this as my guests scooped up all those slices. Everyone thought the inside plaid was so cool. Some slices revealed the plaid better than others. Chef Dimu is a true master at what he does. I came across his information by accident and who knew we had this amazing bakery here in Barrie. On very short notice he was able to take on the order of my wife's birthday cake. My wife is not a person who enjoys desserts but this cake put a huge smile on her face as well as our guests. It was absolutely delicious! White Chocolate Raspberry and Rose Wine. The cake was light and fluffy and I seriously could have eaten the entire cake myself! Thank you Chef Dimu! Andro Cakes is a hidden gem! If you are looking for someone to make that special cake..look no further than...

Had to order picture perfect velvet cakes and desserts, and only had a few hours , they also had to be a specific color to fit my friends bridal theme of gold and white, couldn't think of any other place to get it done perfectly, and contacted Andro Cakes since they did such a wonderful job for my 10th wedding anniversary back in April, wow, we absolutely loved it! they did such a fantastic job, the bride approved with a big smile, we were pleasantly surprised, thank you so much for such dedication, 5 hours for such an order, only the best of the best could have pulled that off and you...

I cannot thank Dimu enough for coming through last minute for our daughterā€™s amazing birthday cake. After 2 other well know Barrie cake shops couldnā€™t do it with 7 days notice and left me hanging, Andro Cakes not only got it done but it turned out amazing, tasted even better! When my husband went to pick up the cake, he ended up leaving with other delicious pastries. I will never go to another bakery in Barrie again, donā€™t see any need to. Dimu not only is a talented chef but his customer service goes above and beyond. With us having 5 kids, heā€™s gonna get a lot of cake orders from us šŸ˜
