This cafe has become a second home to me. Their rotating menu is always just so genius with muffin and scone flavour combinations I never would think of.

They’ve kept spirits high throughout the pandemic and I’m unsure as to why anyone would leave a poor review on a place that is obviously more than just a cafe. It’s a piece of the community and one of the big reasons I love barrie so much. This place is a cultural hub even when events can’t be held.

Thank you to Jill and all the staff for always brightening my days. The customer service here is second to none, and it shows in how many regulars I see at the cafe. I sincerely have made friends just because we have Bohemia in common!

Not to mention this is THE BEST coffee in barrie. Hands down. No contest. The cheese cakes are to die for. Then there’s those Kimchi bacon danishes, can you think of any other place in Barrie who would serve something so deliciously whimsical? I cannot. Their patio is incredibly cute and there’s always something delicious in the grab and go fridge.

A Whimsical Morning Escape!

I’ve been meaning to try Bohemia for the past couple of years, and I finally got around to it! I went earlier this week at 8:30 a.m. with a friend, and as soon as I stepped in, I immediately took in the interior—it felt whimsical. There were fairy lights on the stairs, plants everywhere, and little design choices that made it feel as if I was stepping into a world where fairies belong. It was so cute!

I ordered the apple cider and an apple scone with caramel drizzled on top. The apple cider was delicious—it tasted like that classic winter comfort drink everyone loves. But it was the scone that truly blew me away.

Normally, I’m not a fan of scones. However, this one was amazing! It was warm and moist, with apple slices and just the right amount of spices that made it so flavorful. The caramel added a lovely touch of sweetness. It was the first time I’ve ever truly enjoyed a scone.
