Cheer's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Barrie

If I could give this place a zero star, I would. I have been there 4 times in total and will never recommend nor ever step foot in this place again. The service here is very slow. In fact you have to go to the bar to get your own drinks. Expect to wait an hour to even get your drink. The bar tenders there ignore you. The last time we went, they didn't even have change for their pool table ( so they say) you should have change available as its going back into your bar. I did see someone pay there bill with lots of change, however when we asked to get loonies they cut my bf off for him saying "why have pool tables if you cannot provide the change to go with it?". He had only had 2 beers, yet they charged us 3 for the one they took away after saying he was cut off for being too drunk . The one bar tender that cut my bf off was very unprofessional and gave us the finger and kept yelling at us and then kept saying go ahead and give us a low raiting on Google. I don't care and then kept yelling at us outside. If you like to go to a place where service is horrible and have to wait an hour to an hour and forty-five minutes to be served and be mis treated with a place that's dirty and bathrooms not kept clean with paper towels all over the floors the whole night everytime then this is the place for you. Came for Karaoke. The blonde waitress was extremely rude and accused of having 1 extra beer and extra whiskey for my wife. I am 55 years old and have to drive back to Toronto. Under no circumstances would I ever ever order more than 2 beers. My wife is 5 feet tall and has had 3 whiskeys, yet this waitress accused my wife going to the bar to order a drink. The waitress said her locals had never done this and called us outsiders. My friend and his wife were also accused of having an extra drink. We go to Karaoke for over ten years at hundreds of bars and have never encountered this. The waitress accused us of being liars, and even though I was very upset knowing what I did wasn't wrong. We will never ever go to this establishment ever again. There are many better karaoke bars in Barrie. The rudest waitress I have ever encountered, and she had absolutely no skills and should be fired. We are telling all our friends what happened. We came out of the bar feeling like we had done something wrong. The other waitress also accused us, and this is very concerning. I know nothing will be done. If I could give less then 1 star I would. We are from out of town visiting and I came in at 7pm to have dinner tonight with my husband and two daughters. We ordered our meals and waited to watch the leafs game to start. A few other people came in about 20 minutes after us. At 8:30 we were still waiting for our meals. The waitress, Heather apologized profusely for our wait saying the kitchen was backed up due to a Christmas party. The next thing you know the people who came in 20 minutes after us got their food delivered to their table. Another 10 minutes goes by and Heather decides to check with the kitchen for how much longer our meals would be. The kitchen staff informed her it wouldn’t be ready until 10pm!!!! 10pm?!?!?! Are you kidding me? 3 hours after we order our meals it would be ready??? Absolutely horrific service. We will NEVER return. Best of luck ever keeping your company in business with service...
