CW Coop's - BARRIE — Restaurant in Barrie

On Sep 12, 2023, my wife & I were there. Wow, the echo inside with only 1 table of 6 people was deafening. We moved outside. After a 20-minute wait (reasonable) our wings showed up... COLD. Mine still tasted okay but my wife wasn't enjoying her wings but she was too hungry to send them back and have to wait another 20 minutes (we did tell the waitress about how cold they were). My wife ordered another lbs of wings Non-Breaded (just like the 1st Lbs), Salt & Vinegar. After another 20 minutes (hot this time) wings were delivered... BREADED & No Flavour added (so probably not even our order or just wrong). They still had the nerve to charge us for the 2nd Lbs of wings and after going to the manager twice, we were graciously given 20% off that last Lbs of Wings. ($1.20'ish off) Unacceptable !!! So, I guess they are okay serving cold food and you need to fight to not pay for something you absolutely did not order. Also, I guess it was "get your own bones bucket from another table day" since the waitress didn't care that we didn't have one. When we placed the 2nd order, she took our bucket and never replaced it, so off to another empty table to get another bucket myself. There are plenty of places in town that serve great wings, getting the order right and having good service is what makes the difference. This place is...

Was there yesterday during the Pride parade. Saw a table directly facing the parade and sat down. Couldn’t figure out at first why they were so empty. With so many people at the parade all the other patios were fully taken. As we sat to wait for our waitress to take our order we noticed there was only one young girl serving the people that were there. It took an half an hour just to get our drinks and an hour before the food came out ( which I had to ask again for). Once our food came out they brought me a completely different meal than I had asked for. While my group was eating I had to wait another half an hour to get my correct order and my group had to wait for me to eat while they were already done. I watched people leave as the wait time was awful. I truly felt sorry for our waitress as she was a young girl and seemed to be new at her job. She was the ONLY waitress I saw trying to serve EVERYONE. When my food finally did arrive it was cold. Tried CW Coop’s out today with my family. Upon being seated, we noticed the table behind us had spider webs across two chairs, and then an actual spider actually started coming down from the ceiling right over our table… that should’ve been our warning that it was not going to be a great experience. I got the plant based wings in spicy maple sauce, and all I could taste was Buffalo for some reason. My dad ordered wings with Dragon’s breath sauce and all he could taste was Buffalo as well, no hint of the sweet & spicy Thai or honey garlic that it’s supposed to have. The ketchup bottle at the table was sticky. Despite not being busy, many of the tables had visible dust. The cleanest part about the place was the washrooms though surprisingly.
