Bad greasy Indian food cooked in stale oil That is how I would describe the food here. Most of the reviews and high ratings are given by Indians blindly supporting the Indian restaurant or people who probably have no standards of rating quality food. The the quality of food is really sub par and likely to make you sick. Pav Bhaji was greasy and smelt of stale oil that leaves a weird aftertaste. Hakka noodles is a BIG NO. It tasted worse than maggi, was oily and smelly again and lacked any taste whatsoever. Paneer kathi roll was the only decent edible item on the menu. It however contained some weird combination of mayo or chipotle sauce, wrapped rather poorly. People trying Indian food here will rather end up having a bad idea of Indian street food in general. Prices- the food is cheap here but so is the quality. Service- service was a bit slow Would NOT recommend the place because of the poor food quality.

Was out seeing my clients, on the way back I looked up and seen Junction! I was recommended this place after asking for some authentic food from some friends, and decided I'd pop in to try it. WOWWW this place is GREAT! I've only had the pleasure of trying one of their dishes so far; Ridham gave me a lovely sheet so I can keep track of all the names properly(forgive me, as I'm still learning the names of dishes so this was a big help), Ridham broke down all the dishes for me explaining what certain things mean, asked me my tolerance for spices, and treated me so nicely. What was absolutely amazing was they brought the food out to my table for me, which was unexpected as a lot of restaurants don't do that these days. Such a classy great experience coming here. I wished I got to try it sooner, as this is THE spot for authenticity. Ridham they're so lucky to have you!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from The Junction Indian Street Food. I specifically ordered 4 loaded cheese puffs and clearly mentioned both in the Uber Eats note and over a phone call that the cheese must be melted because I’ve had this issue before. Unfortunately, the cheese was once again not melted. When I called the restaurant to express my frustration, the response I got was, “Oh really? I didn’t melt the cheese, sorry.” That’s not acceptable especially for a $50 order. I expected better service and consistency from a place I’ve ordered from before. This was truly my worst experience, and I am requesting a refund. I hope the management takes customer concerns more seriously in the future.

Hygiene: -10 Food: -2 Cleanliness: -10

The food was decent, but hygiene was a major letdown. The washrooms were never cleaned and were extremely dirty. When we asked for plates, they offered us takeout container lids, which, to our shock, had been previously used by other customers. Not that I had problem previously used dish but at least have a courtesy of washing it before offering to new customer. Two of the lids still had sev and other food stuck to them.

While the loaded puff and vegetable sandwich were tasty, the junction sandwich was cold and unappetizing. Unfortunately, the food gave all of us stomach issues and acid reflux. We had food for takeaway which from consumed food experience we had to throw away we could not risk any more health problem with it. The tables had a foul smell, making me dread how unsanitary the kitchen might be. we sat around that panipuri stall it smelt like gutter for some reason. I don't know what was wrong.

The only saving grace was the masala soda.

This place is 100% not recommended if you care about...

Terrible experience at Junction House today. They had a promo on vada pav (2 for $2), which sounded great, so I went in planning to grab 3 orders for my family. The cashier immediately shut me down saying it’s “1 order per person.” I explained my family (5 people) was in the car with kids sleeping, but he insisted he had to physically see them to believe me. He even offered to come outside and “check” — which was honestly insulting and ridiculous.

To make it worse, he told me out of the 2 vada pavs, only ONE could be spicy, and if I wanted both spicy I’d have to pay full price. Seriously? This is how you treat customers? Like you’re giving out charity instead of selling food?

I walked out without buying anything because the whole thing was frustrating, rude, and unprofessional. Promotions are supposed to make people want to come back — this one just made me never want to return. Don’t waste your time here, plenty of other spots in Barrie actually know how to treat customers...
