The food was decent, but hygiene was a major letdown. The washrooms were never cleaned and were extremely dirty. When we asked for plates, they offered us takeout container lids, which, to our shock, had been previously used by other customers. Not that I had problem previously used dish but at least have a courtesy of washing it before offering to new customer. Two of the lids still had sev and other food stuck to them.
While the loaded puff and vegetable sandwich were tasty, the junction sandwich was cold and unappetizing. Unfortunately, the food gave all of us stomach issues and acid reflux. We had food for takeaway which from consumed food experience we had to throw away we could not risk any more health problem with it. The tables had a foul smell, making me dread how unsanitary the kitchen might be. we sat around that panipuri stall it smelt like gutter for some reason. I don't know what was wrong.
The only saving grace was the masala soda.

The cashier immediately shut me down saying it’s “1 order per person.” I explained my family (5 people) was in the car with kids sleeping, but he insisted he had to physically see them to believe me. He even offered to come outside and “check” — which was honestly insulting and ridiculous.
To make it worse, he told me out of the 2 vada pavs, only ONE could be spicy, and if I wanted both spicy I’d have to pay full price. Seriously? This is how you treat customers? Like you’re giving out charity instead of selling food?
I walked out without buying anything because the whole thing was frustrating, rude, and unprofessional. Promotions are supposed to make people want to come back — this one just made me never want to return. Don’t waste your time here, plenty of other spots in Barrie actually know how to treat customers...
