Tahini’s — Restaurant in Barrie

If I could give 0 stars I would. To begin, the only reason we went here was for the kids requesting this restaurant. By far the WORST possible franchise you can go to. The owner is disrespectful, doesn’t care for her clients, refuses to provide plates/bowl for dining in. She explained that she doesn’t sell nor provide plates or bowls to her customers because it “costs her money” which is ridiculous if we’ve spent more than $100 on meals for our family as well as the children; you can provide us a plate or bowl especially if we’re dining in. She went on a tangent and kicked us out the restaurant and began screaming (the kids began to cry saying they were hungry because of how scared they were from her screaming at us OVER A PAPER BOWL SHE APPARENTLY CANNOT AFFORD and about how the bowls cost her money (she doesn’t have plates to provide), and wouldn’t give us a paper bowl. But obviously as customers we’ve spent more than enough to get a paper BOWL and funny enough IT ALSO costs US money. But as I mentioned we’ve spent more than enough for her to refuse to provide one bowl & it’s the principle of how you treat your clients who dine in. HOW EMBARRASSING. I also forgot to mention she refused to provide us a refund even though we never took a bite out of anything and wanted nothing to do with her restaurant. Obviously she cared more about arguing over a bowl/plate. It’s embarrassing to see we have business owners like this in Barrie. I hope your location shuts down immediately. Ridiculously small portion sizes... i ordered dinner for myself and a family member and i would say that the two "Habbibi bowls" we got would be just enough for one person. it would be fine but if im spending $20 i expect to not want anything else to eat especially when buying shawarma. It actually feels like I'm being a conspiracy theorist when i talk about this stuff but idk why shawarma places are the KING of shrinkflation in food! like tahini's used to give you a GIGANTIC portion in this huge blue bowl... wtf is this??? a measly half of a chipotle take out burrito bowl container. I'm not blaming the workers it has to be company wide but I think they made the bowls even shallower and that was my last straw. On a weekday we decided to get dinner from here and it was horrible experience. Missing toppings, stale lettuce causing food poisoning, falafel wrap had no veggies when we added them as main toppings it was just pita and falafel balls no sauces. Falafel itself were too hard to break with spoon. Many other better Mediterranean outlets in city. We wasted money, felt sick and still couldn’t had dinner as we had to throw away after eating a little bit. Just to add it was not at all busy and there were no multiple orders or even customers.
